Huge Dog Lover with Patience & Love
I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 14. I look after neighbors and relatives’ pets when they are out of town. I trained and took care of my parents’ Pomeranian pup when I was a kid. Had a large GSD/Lab boy myself. Trained him to be an obedient and loving companion dog all by myself. Unfortunately lost him to cancer and I don’t think I can ever have a dog again. So I would like to offer my help when you need. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a small fenced yard. I have a toddler at home so I will only accept pets that are completely potty trained and gentle with children.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Sussie gave our Schnauzer, Oliver! 🐾 She sent us daily pictures of him enjoying walks and playtime with his toys, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Her young daughter also spent lots of time playing with Oliver—we honestly couldn’t tell who was having more fun, him or her! It was wonderful to see how loved and entertained Oliver was. We highly recommend Sussie as a fantastic Rover sitter—your pup will be in excellent hands!

Sussie was absolutely wonderful with our Daisy! She had such a great week and came home happily tired each day from all the neighborhood walks. Sussie’s calm, patient approach when Daisy felt a little anxious made all the difference, helping her feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. We loved receiving the daily photo updates, and the communication was excellent throughout. On top of everything, she was incredibly accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for better care for our fluffy gal - thank you, Sussie! Miss Daisy is looking forward to spending more time with you and your family in the future!
Sussie is our “go to” sitter for Capri. She is easy to work with and sends pictures daily. Sussie has cared for our kitty three times. Capri returns to us calm, rested and content, all indications she has been well cared for. We are so grateful to have found someone who treats our cat with kindness.
Sussie did an incredible job taking care of my sweet little Lyra! Everything went perfect. I got updates all through the day, she got plenty of walks in, and I had peace of mind that my pup was cared for while I was traveling. I would definitely board with Sussie again.

I currently WFH a lot and my parents are in my house when I am not. So your furbaby will be watched at all times.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced yard and I walk your dogs for free. I also have an XL dog crate at home if you’d like your pets crated. There are stray cats in my neighborhood so I am not able to walk a large dog that is a puller and is interested in cats.
A typical day
I have many dog toys at home that we can play with. Tug-a-war is what my late dog loved to play. There’s a neighborhood park nearby with a very big grass field. We can play frisbee and balls if you’d like too.
