I love animals. I joined this site as a way to meet and enjoy animals without taking on more of our own. We will provide a safe and friendly environment for your pet. We have a spacious 2 story home with a fenced yard. While going to college, I worked for several years at a veterinary college. I spent a great deal of my off time caring for and comforting sick and injured animals. Before having my 18 year old daughter, we fostered animals and hospiced older animals. I have experience with many medical issues including giving pills, injections, administering subcutaneous fluids, etc. I will treat your dog(s) with respect and compassion. They will become a member of our family during their stay. I would never consider hitting an animal. I always look forward to each stay!

Susie was wonderful! My small dog Wrigley can be a little high maintenance and Susie took excellent care of him. She has such patient and kind energy - he warmed up quickly and was so happy when I picked him up. She kept me updated with pictures and I can’t recommend her enough.
Susie was great with our miniature schnauzer. She communicated daily and was always responsive, which was so appreciated as we rarely go out of town and have to leave our girl with someone. Thank you, Susie!
Susie and her daughter are so loving towards Ozzy! Nothing more you want for your dog when you’re leaving them for vacation. We’ve used Susie twice now to take care of Ozzy, and both experiences have been wonderful. Ozzie is so comfortable and at ease with her, and you can genuinely tell how happy he is in all the photos and updates she sends us. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s happy and well cared for while we’re away. We’ll absolutely continue using Susie for future trips!
Suzie was absolutely AMAZING with our little guys! She will be our PERSON for watching the boys going forward. We got pictures and text updates throughout their stay. When we picked them up, you could tell that they were super happy and well taken care of during their stay. We would recommend Susie for anyone with small dogs, especially those with unique/strong attitudes. She was TRULY a GodSend to care for our boys while we had to be away.

Susie was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind and accommodating when our schedule shifted a bit due to road-tripping to and from Idaho. She sent us tons of photos throughout Wicket’s stay, showing him having a great time with her and her daughter, which gave me so much peace of mind. Wicket is getting older and can be a little grumpy around new people, so I was especially happy to see how comfortable he was with Susie. He clearly felt right at home, and he came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Susie with Wicket again!
