Susie immediately responded to my inquiry for dog sitting with less than two days notice and she quickly scheduled a Meet & Greet. She was VERY attentive to our Aussie throughout his time with her (about 6 hours) and took him out on a number of walks during the day. She shared great photo updates and was a very good communicator during the Meet & Greet and when sharing information about his day. I would definitely recommend her!
Susie took such wonderful care of Zephyr over the weekend (Friday through Sunday), and I couldn't be happier with our experience. She was incredibly responsive, kind, understanding, and friendly from the very beginning. Throughout the weekend, she kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me much peace of mind. It was clear that Zephyr was getting lots of walks, attention, and excellent care, and he seemed to have had a really great weekend with her. Thank you so much, Susie, for taking such great care of Zephyr! I wouldn't hesitate to book with you again, and I will absolutely be recommending you to my fellow dog friends.

Susie is the best! I could tell she really cared for my dog and made sure she was comfortable and entertained every day that I was gone. She sent daily recaps of the day along with a picture of what they did. Susie goes above and beyond the expectations I had. She didn’t just watch my dog while I was gone, she loved my dog like it was hers. I will 100% be going to Susie any time I need to board my dog again.

Schedule
I am recently retired, which gives me the flexibility to be fully present and available for pet care when needed. My schedule allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, overnights, and extended stays without the constraints of a traditional workday. This flexibility means your pets receive consistent attention, timely care, and a calm, unhurried presence while you are away.

When caring for pets in my home, they become part of an active, dog-friendly neighborhood with plenty to explore. I live just 1.5 blocks from the beach and close to great walking spots like Arana Gulch, the park at the end of Schwan Lake, and a nearby dog park only minutes away. Dogs in my care enjoy fresh air, fun walks, and plenty of playtime balanced with calm downtime at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged. I take dogs to unique places for walks and fresh-air adventures, and I make sure both dogs and cats enjoy plenty of playtime with their favorite activities. Whether it’s a game of fetch, interactive play, or simply enrichment at home, I tailor activities to each pet’s personality. And of course, I always make time for all the snuggles and affection they want.

- Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Please let me know if they require any supplements or medications, especially if these need to be mixed into their food or given at specific times. I also appreciate knowing about any unique behaviors, sensitivities, or “tells” that signal how they’re feeling, whether that means they’re excited, anxious, overstimulated, or ready for rest. The more I understand about their routines, preferences, and personality, the better I can provide consistent, loving care that feels familiar to them.
