I've had a love for all animals since I was child, especially dogs. I've had dogs most of my life and recently lost my 17 year old pug, Rocko. He was truly a beloved member of our family. Before I moved from Plymouth, MA to South Carolina I had a very successful full-time pet sitting business. My clients included dogs from puppies to seniors, cats, birds, bunnies and ferrets. My pet parents know they can count on me for the most personalized, compassionate and experienced pet care they need and should expect for their furry family members. Each pet is different and has unique behaviors and needs. I believe that each pet I care for should be made to feel as if they are as comfortable and loved just like they would be in their own home. I understand how it feels to be away from our pets and being worried about their well-being. You can be sure you'll be able to enjoy your time away and know you will come home to a happy, stress-free fur-baby!

Susanne was absolutely amazing. She followed our instructions for Ellie’s care. She cared for our Bichon as if she were her own doggie. I felt so comfortable leaving Ellie with her even upon dropping off. During our 6 day vacation she sent me videos, wrote about how Ellie was doing. She is phenomenal!!! Thank you Susanne
We have worked with many Rover’s for our dogs, but Susanne is by far the best! We needed a calm and nurturing environment for our anxious dog Belle while we had some relatives staying with us (Belle doesn’t do very well in settings with a lot of people or other dogs), and that calm and nurturing environment is exactly what Susanne provided! We had a meet and greet a few days prior to Belle’s stay, and Susanne immediately made both Belle and I feel at ease with her friendly and calm demeanor. Her house is perfect for a comfortable stay for any pup, and from Susanne’s daily updates, I saw that Belle especially loved sunbathing on her screened-in porch and walking around her beautiful neighborhood. Susanne texted daily with updates on what Belle was up to (lots of snuggling, walking, sunbathing, and toys/treats) with a bunch of pictures! I was able to fully enjoy my time with my relatives, while not worrying or stressing about if Belle was comfortable because Susanne kept me so well informed and at ease. On Belle’s first night, Susanne also followed the guidance I gave to give Belle her anti-anxiety medication as she acclimated to the new environment. Susanne did just that (and even had her own pill pockets to give it to Belle in!); it was such a relief to know I had someone I could rely on to administer medication to Belle if needed. I am so grateful to have found such a caring, calm and passionate pet-lover like Susanne to care for my pups when we may not be available! I highly highly recommend her to anyone in search of an attentive, nurturing and experienced caretaker of pets!
Susanne is such a wonderful and caring sitter! She was attentive to his needs and always send photos and updates throughout his stays. Her love for dogs is apparent, and we are confident that our senior dog is always in good hands when we leave him with her.
This is our second time with Susanne and our baby loves her! She’s amazing and her attention to detail, patience and love for our Teenie is unmatched. Teenie feels the love and it shows in the daily pictures Susanne shares with us.

Schedule
I live just a few miles from Indian Land, SC and Waxhaw, NC. For boarding I am available all day when pets stay with me. By day I am an accountant working from home so they will have plenty of human interaction and potty breaks. Although my passion is puppy kisses instead of spreadsheets!
Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will always be leashed when outside with me. I can crate if needed. I prefer clients bring a favorite bed and toys they are familiar with when boarding. Although my yard is not currently fenced in, your pet will always be supervised and always be safe in my care.
A typical day
I have a great neighborhood for taking fun walks and exploring nature. There will be lots of playtime inside as well. I have a beautiful screened in porch so my pet guests can sit outside without actually being outside. Cuddling on the couch and lots of belly rubs are also on the schedule.
