Dachshunds pet care
My partner and I adore Dachshunds, most of all of course our own little cheeky doxie Vinnie, who we adopted from a shelter. Vinnie is 1.5 years old and quite the energetic little guy, but also loves to snooze and snuggle. We know and love the breed for their stubbornness, so we have lots of patience, and of course our flat is Dachshund 'appropriate' - steps and stairs to help them get up and down from furniture (no jumping!) and lots of cozy corners for snoozing and burrowing. So if you are looking for some experienced doxie owners to look after yours please reach out! We are of course open to host other small dogs as well, as long as they are compatible with our Vinnie (male). Due to Vinnies first couple of months of life in the shelter, he is used to all sorts of different dogs and breeds, and generally is very playful with all dogs.

Schedule
Both of us work from home, so we are at home all day and take Vinnie out for a couple of short toilet breaks, and a 'longer' 30 min walk in the mornings and/or evenings. On the weekends we usually take him on a longer walk around lake Viñuela.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a flat in Alcaucin with an elevator (so no stairs to climb), and we have a nice terrace for some playing and relaxing outside.
Pets
A typical day
We will go for a regular walk around the town, where there are lots of opportunities to stop and smell the flowers. At home we will have snuggles on the sofa or play sniffing activity games. One of Vinnies' favorites is games with the tennis ball. On the weekends we will be out for a longer walk, around the lake or on the beach.
