Pet care experience
We love your dog like it is our own
My husband and I are retired and as we love to travel we have opted not to have another dog of our own. Pet sitting allows us to get our "dog fix" without having to worry about someone to watch our dog while we are traveling. The dogs we watch become our "own"--sitting on the couch watching TV, walking through the Open Space Preserve and snuggling on our bed at night. We love dogs and will take such wonderful care of yours that they will want to come back! We have recently moved here from Arizona where we had numerous dogs that were repeat guests and have recommendations from their owners! We encourage and welcome preliminary "Meet and Greet" visits--we would love to meet you! PLEASE NOTE: Pick up by 6pm. Pick up after this time will be considered day care and will be charged the additional day rate of $25.

Susan and Peter are WONDERFUL!!! They welcomed my senior pup into their home and took such good care of him!!! He was loved and spoiled just like he is at home! They are extremely friendly and kind, and treat the fur babies staying with them with love and compassion. I knew my baby was in good hands!

As we are retired, our schedule is very flexible. While I do volunteer work, my husband is always home to care for our pet guests..

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very secure yard with fencing all around. Pets are welcome on furniture and while we prefer crates for sleeping, small dogs are allowed in bed with us
A typical day
We live next to Auburn Ravine Park and we walk a 1, 2 or 3 mile walk every morning depending on the dogs ability! If the dog likes car rides, we also take them with us to HomeDepot, Lowes, etc.
