If you're seeking someone to care for your pets like you do, then you've found your gal! I am a single mom of 2 children and 2 mini-goldendoodles. I work during the day close to my home, so I'll be around to engage with, play with, walk, and offer pet-psychotherapy (I'm a Licensed Psychologist) as part of this package! (Ha ha). I've had pets my whole life - as a child I had dogs, litters of puppies 2 times, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies, chickens, oh my! As an adult I've bred and raised hedgehogs, had three of my own dogs, and LOVE animals! If you want someone who's a mature parent, yet playful at heart, I'll be the perfect woman to care for your dog(s). I take in only 1-2 dogs at a time. Susan and her family are the best! We have boarded Siggy with her twice and have been very pleased with how she takes care of him and keeps us informed almost daily with photos and information. She has alerted us to possible problems with his health and behavior and followed through on our suggestions. We will keep coming back to Suan for boarding and highly recommend her.
We received a picture or a text nearly every day with updates saying my pup was happy and doing well. On pickup day, we arrived to learn there'd been an incident with a rug, which caught us off guard given earlier messages. Beyond learning pee, poop, and vomit were involved, additional details were not forthcoming, my offers to have the rug professionally cleaned were declined, and the handoff was abrupt. My dog returned home acting like his normal self, and I'm still scratching my head over what went down, given my dog has boarded successfully with four other households. Clearly my dog and Susan's household weren't a good match. Susan seems to be a responsible caretaker, but a busy one...perhaps best suited to older, mellower dogs versus young, high-energy ones.
Susan has a very calm presence and was able to pivot last minute when I realized I hadn't confirmed my Rover reservation. She was great about communication and was patient with my sensitive pup. Happy to recommend her to others.

Susan was fantastic! She sent us photos and updates throughout the holiday weekend while she was watching our dog. It was incredibly easy to coordinate with her, and she made the entire experience seamless for us.
Susan was the best and we highly recommend her. She sent photos almost every day with a brief update on how Siggy was doing and she was very responsive to our concerns throughout his stay.

Schedule
I love animals and will prioritize your pet during their day. I work out of my home, hours are 9am-1/3pm depending on the day, providing ample time to spend with your pet. My office is close to my home, if potty breaks are needed mid day.

I have a fenced in backyard with a driveway gate. I can both use a crate or bed, depending on your dogs needs. I also use gates if needed around the home. My dog loves other dogs, and also gives them space during your pets stay. I have two boys who also adore animals.

I will offer love, comfort, and play with your dog during their stay. If they need a walk, we’ll go around our neighborhood or play in our backyard.
