I’m a life-long resident of East Tx, I have raised my family here and enjoy the community and the many trusted relationships I’ve formed over the last 5 decades in my sweet home town. l am a devoted animal lover, blessed to be home full-time and I live in a quiet home with my beloved and senior Wirehaired pointing griffon, Betty. She is very docile, friendly, gentle and sleeps about 23 hours a day so she isn’t bothered by house guests! Over my lifetime I’ve enjoyed dogs and cats, as well as goats, bunnies, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, horses, calves, emus, a couple of leopard geckos and lots more. I can’t remember a time in my life, that there wasn’t a small menagerie of pets in my house and yard. I’ve served for years as a volunteer advocate for homeless and abandoned pets, fostering homeless pets, transporting animals and bottle feeding orphaned babies of all sorts. I now work from home and my two gorgeous children have grown up and flown the coop. I hope you will trust me to provide the ultimate care and love for your dogs while you can’t be there. I will make your pet’s safety and specific needs my top priority while they are under my care. They will receive close supervision, enrichment activities, exercise and a relaxing and nurturing home environment. I have a safe, secure home with a large fenced yard and deck. I have the experience to help support any training that you may be working on as well as experience administering most types of medications, and can meet most special needs. Your pet will become a part of the family and enjoy plenty of enriching play-time, carefully supervised outdoor-time, soft beds, and the devotion and love of they deserve! Close supervision will be provided indoors and out. Your pets will be safe, secure and happy when they are my guests. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority.

Susan was absolutely incredible! She kept me updated throughout the entire stay, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was not only well cared for but truly loved. Drop off and pick up were seamless, and the whole experience couldn’t have been easier. I will definitely be booking with her again!
Susan was such a delight to work with. She sent updates, photos, and videos of our pups. She was always quick to reply and I felt that our pups were getting the best care while with her. I hate how some boarding facilities won't board them together so I was very happy that my pups were able to play together throughout the day and get lots of entertainment and fun activity with Susan. Will definitely book with her in the future.
Susan did an amazing job helping us through the whole process. She kept us up to date about our dogs status and even sent us pictures! I highly recommend her!!! She has her own crates and recommends bringing their favorite thing for comfort. Love that!!
Susan was AMAZING! We never used Rover before her, and she made It such an amazing experience! She sent us regular pics and videos of our fur-baby and made sure we knew everything was going well. Definitely recommend!!

Schedule
I am a full time stay at home dog care provider. Your pets are never left alone when they are my guests. We have structured activities both indoors and out.

Safety, trust & environment
My guest are constantly supervised with activities both indoors and in my large, fenced, wooded back yard. Everyone has safe places to retreat for rest and meal times are carefully served in individual, safe, secure areas. I work to keep their environment, calm and peaceful. I provide white noise, fans and low volume tv to help with any possible anxiety.
Pets
A typical day
Your dogs will receive constant and careful supervision at all times. I’ll provide activities and exercise based on instructions from owner. Those would include leashed walks in my quiet neighborhood, supervised play time in the yard and fun times indoors. If I must be out of the house for a brief time, I will kennel your pup safely indoors. This is for safely and peace of mind, for you, your pet and myself. However your dog will be free to enjoy my home as though it were his own. I provide food and feeding instructions from pet owner. I prefer a brief meet and greet for new clients to help everyone have complete peace of mind.
