I have worked with various animals (as an animal shelter volunteer for many years, pet sitting in college and plenty of Rover responsibilities). I’m comfortable walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your furry loved ones :) I have been a volunteer at “Na Paluchu” animal shelter in Warsaw, for a bit more than 5 years. I assisted in the direct care of animals, fundraising as well as reaching out to the community by organizing events and engaging in various promotional activities. Dogs were always a big part of my life, I had many breeds ranging from Rottweilers to Yorkies. When my dog passed away in 2016, I became even more involved in the shelter, especially with the senior dogs. This is where I met my current dog, Dyzio (meaning “a dreamer”), who is a part of my life for the past two years. Unfortunately I had to leave him with my parents when I left for grad school, but it means I have even more love to give! If your loved one would stay under my care, you can contact me any time (day or night) to make sure he/she is having fun and being a bit spoiled ;) Please feel free to contact me with any questions, even before you decide to book with me :)

I deeply care about the animals I have under may care and treat them as if they were my own. If you decide to leave your pet at my home for a few days, rest assured I’ll provide them with love, scratches and nice long walks - also, anything else you might desire!!

Susan provided doggy daycare to my very young golden retriever puppy. As someone who has never used a dog sitter outside of family before, I was very nervous about leaving my little girl with a non-family member. However, Susan made the experience very comfortable for me. She sent regular updates with photos to me and graciously watched my puppy past the originally planned pick up time when the event I was attending ran over. I'd highly recommend Susan to others!
Susan was our dog walker for over 8 months, and she was absolutely amazing with our beagle Lola. Her rover cards have the cutest photos and lots of details about the walks. I looked forward to them every day. Lola loves Susan and we will miss her very much now that we’re moving away. If you’re looking for a dependable dog walker that will love your pup like they’re own, Susan is your go to!
I left Winnie (7 old month puppy) with Susan for the weekend - Winnie got plenty of snuggles, playtime, and walks! I also got a lot of cute picture updates. It was a relief to leave Winnie with a caring and knowledgeable dog sitter. Also, this was my first time using Rover and Susan made the communication and coordination super easy! Will definitely book again next time I’m out of town.

Schedule
I work fully remotely in the DC area and my schedule is flexible so that I can pay full attention to the animals under my care. I live right next to the Navy Yard Dog Park so if you have a pup that’s more of a social butterfly we can have some fun there too!

- Before sitting a dog I would recommend a little meet and greet - we could organize a time for you and your precious pet to come over to my apartment and see where he/she would be staying. As I had dogs before myself, I would want for you to have a peace of mind that your loved one stays in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with a really cool roommate :))
