I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, along with birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, chipmunks, and even goldfish. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s truly who I am. I understand that our fur babies are special souls and cherished members of the family. When your beloved pet is in my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know how important consistency is, so I will follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk times to medications, play preferences, and bedtime routines. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, backyard playtime, enrichment activities, or quiet cuddle time, I adjust to your pet’s personality and energy level. I’m also respectful of your home. I’ll keep things tidy, provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and ensure your pet feels safe, secure, and cared for in their own familiar environment. Your baby will be treated like family every step of the way.

Susan took great care of Sullivan while out of town for one night. She successfully administered his medication, gave him lots of cuddles & outside time & provided pictures as well as updates. She was also very willing to help out with a last-minute request. We definitely plan to use Susan again in the future!

Schedule
My days start early — which means I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and on weekends. I love having that balance in my day, especially when it comes to spending time with animals. At home, life revolves around my two dogs — a standard poodle and a terrier mix — along with my two rescue cats, all adopted from different rescues. Caring for them is part of my daily routine, from morning feedings and walks to evening playtime and snuggles. My home is calm, loving, and pet-centered, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, happy environment where animals feel comfortable and cared for. 🐾
