Empty nester ISO cuddle buddies.
I grew up on a farm with many different types of animals. We had chickens (so many chickens!), cows to milk, an elderly blind horse, goats and pigs occasionally, 17 outside cats, dogs of varying sizes, and a turkey, named Minerva. I am not new to responsible pet-ownership although I chose not to have pets while raising my daughter- she was responsibility enough! She is all grown up now and at this time in my life, I have time and would welcome occasional companionship, snuggles, and the opportunity to be of service.

I'm observant and very hands-on, preferring to be fully present with your beloved pets in their familiar home. I care deeply about the type of experience you would want to come home to and believe in leaving things better than I found them. I take care to clean up after myself and the babies you're entrusting me to care for.
Ratings and reviews
Susan was absolutely amazing! She is loving, professional, extremely trustworthy, and respectful. Our dog Sadie and our cat Lily fell in love with her immediately. It was obvious from all the photos she sent us while we were gone. She has become a friend to both my husband and I, and of course Sadie and Lily.
We have had Susan (Aunt Susan to our dogs) stay at our home and watch our dogs many times. We literally will schedule our trips around her availability due to the peace of mind we have when she stays.
Susan is the best!!!
What more can I say? Our dogs cry when Susan packs up to leave on her last day. She’s the best!
Our two dogs seemed very comfortable with Susan and enjoyed her cuddles. The dogs were taken good care of.
Susan took great care of Loki for the night and i truly appreciate her patience, organization, the photos she sent me, and her loving demeanor. I felt completely comfortable with her after our meet and greet, even with it being my first time ever using rover or a pet sitter in general. I would rebook her anytime and you should too!

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible work schedule; much of which I can do wherever I am. On the occasions when I do need to leave, it is usually no more than 6 hours away at a time. I update my calendar frequently and coordinate my availability to reflect that. That means I get to spend more time with your pets!
