It honestly depends on the cat - I've known some that will plonk themselves down on me for a cuddle as soon as I arrive but most aren't quite like that. If a cat is nervous or shy, I give them time to get to know me. (I find talking to them in Italian often works!)

I love all animals. I have been owned by five cats, currently only one old lady. All my cats, and two of my dogs, were rescued. I can’t bear the thought of anyone hurting animals or of them not having good homes. It took one of my cats eight years to sit on my lap, so I know you have to be patient with them. I’ve published a book about cat care and a booklet about my life with cats. I have experience of all kinds of animals, and may branch into dog walking later. I even worked on a Croft on the Isle of Lewis once. I have a valid enhanced DBS certificate.

Susan is so caring with my elderly cat, he is relaxed with her, she is very professional, friendly and organised, Susan askes if any health issues ect with my cat. Organising collecting and dropping off keys as well as keeping me updated, I received messages and video after visiting which is reassuring whilst I am away he is always calm and contented when I return home thankyou Susan!!
Susan was absolutely fantastic in looking after our cat for a week. She was always prompt and efficient and we were totally at ease with Susan sending photos and videos. We would definitely ask Susan again to look after our cat.
Couldn’t thank Susan enough. I have very shy and antisocial cat. But she ate all her food and seemed to be very happy. Thank you for everything and frequent updates.
