We are a husband and wife team who truly treats every dog like family. As lifelong dog lovers, caring for pups isn’t just something we do, it’s something we genuinely love! Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always our top priorities. I bring professional animal care experience from my background as a veterinary assistant and working in animal hospitals, which gives us a strong foundation in canine health, behavior, and safety. We take a very intentional, safety-first approach to dog sitting so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. Our home is set up with dogs’ wellbeing in mind. We use secure entry and exit procedures (dogs are crated while doors are opened to prevent escapes), have a fully secured yard, and crate dogs when we’re away so they stay safe and out of harm’s way. We even use a doggy camera so we can check in on them while running errands. We follow best practices for canine health, including quiet rest time after meals to allow proper digestion and help prevent bloat. We are extremely mindful about avoiding harmful foods, plants, and household items, and we maintain a clean, sanitized environment—beds, blankets, crates, and floors are cleaned regularly. Every dog is unique, and we’re happy to accommodate different personalities and energy levels. We have plenty of space to separate dogs when needed, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and stress-free. Dogs are welcome on the sofas, and they’ll receive plenty of cuddles, affection, and attention throughout their stay. We’re proud to have many 5-star reviews from happy pet parents. Susan & Miguel are excellent dog sitters. I regularly get updates and photos. I really appreciate hearing about Maya’s progress socializing with other pups and members of the household. It’s great that Maya is ready to go - all packed up and her harness is on.
We were on the hunt for new dog sitters and had the good fortune to find Susan and Miguel. They did a wonderful job watching our fur babies! They were super communicative and shared lots of photos. The pups and I look forward to booking with them again soon :)
Susan and Miguel took good care of Maya again. She’s making good progress becoming friends with Rocky and Lucy. They were very understanding when I wanted to wait out a larger dog on the street when I came for pick up.
Susan and Miguel are awesome. Susan understands Maya and her tendencies. She’s very accommodating to Maya’s needs. Maya is getting very comfortable with her family. I’m happy to see she’s making friends.
Susan was wonderful to work with! She responds quickly, provides lots of photos and videos, and keeps us updated throughout Leo’s stay. She even sent Leo home with a little gift. I would highly recommend Susan for any daycare or boarding needs! We will definitely be back.

Schedule
I work from home 3-7 days a week depending on my schedule and the time of the year. My husband also has a flexible schedule, between the two of us, there is very little time that we are not at home with the pups!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We use secure entry and exit procedures by crating dogs when doors are opened to prevent escapes, have a fully secured yard, and crate dogs when we’re away to ensure their safety. With experience as a former veterinary assistant and working in animal hospitals, we’re very mindful of canine health and wellbeing. Our home and yard are dog-safe and free of harmful foods and plants. Cleanliness is extremely important to us—beds, blankets, crates, floors, and common areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly to provide a healthy environment for every dog. We have ample space to separate dogs when needed based on their personalities or energy levels. Dogs in our care are always supervised, well loved, and treated like family, and pet parents receive frequent photo and video updates for peace of mind.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day starts with outdoor potty time, followed by a few minutes of play and breakfast. After meals, dogs enjoy quiet time to relax and let their food digest, followed by another potty break. The day includes plenty of playtime to burn energy, either outdoors when the weather is nice or indoors with our variety of toys. We tailor activities to each dog’s energy level and play style, including games like fetch for pups who enjoy it. Once everyone is happily played out, dogs are free to nap wherever they’re most comfortable, on the sofa, dog beds, in a lap, or any cozy spot they choose. Throughout the day, pups receive lots of love, attention, and cuddles. As a fun side hobby, I also love capturing each dog’s unique personality and special moments with us, using a professional camera, so pet parents can enjoy extra sweet photos during their stay.
