We specialize in TEACUP, TOY, MINIATURE, SMALL AND SMALLER SIZE LAP DOGS (Must be Under 20 LBS fully grown and not a large breed dog). ... EVERY puppy parent receives multiple photos and stories of their puppies activities ... My husband and I each have had over 40-year careers in Hospitality and we have loved and cared for dogs for over 30 years, including almost 7 years of rescue work and foster care which included caring for tiny puppies. We understand and speak "dog" in our home and recognize stress, anxiety, when they're missing you, when they want a treat or attention and when they want snuggles and love … and even where they want to sleep ... our primary goal is happy puppies who love coming back to us ... In our home all dogs are treated like puppies and given lots of hugs, snuggles, and treats (which often include dog friendly fresh veggies, homemade puppy cookies or high-quality treats). We are happy to take both young puppies and special needs dogs and are very familiar with the needs of diabetic dogs and their medications, blind and deaf dogs and dogs with special diets. We have a large gated kitchen, a large gated deck and a large fenced and flowered area right off the deck, which dogs love because they can come and go whenever they want and there's plenty of room for little ones to run and play ... our puppy guests are never left alone or unattended outside ... We are very careful, inside and out, with the safety of your little family members and treat them with love and care just as you would … and as we treat our own. We spend many lovely mornings with the puppies having coffee, tea and treats on the deck in the spring, summer and fall. We have 2 resident puppies, both Min Pins … “G” who is 14 years old who came to us very ill and not expected to live, and “Bears” who is now 12. They are fun loving, playful and enjoy having “company” both human and puppy. They greet everyone with a lot of noise and excitement but once here, they happily share laps, beds and toys with anyone who wants to play, snuggle or sleep. One of us is home nearly all day, every day. There are always puppy's on our laps or sitting on our large oversize chairs with us throughout the day. Kenny, and all the dogs, usually take a nap in the afternoon, they all pile on either the recliner in the family room (or on our big chairs in the kitchen) and nap together. After dinner we often spend the evening in the family room playing, snuggling and watching TV. We make sure the dogs go out a minimum of every 1 to 2 hours and if your puppy is a “puppy pad” puppy, we have the perfect place for that as well. We will make sure sleeping and eating arrangements "fit your dog’s needs" … and that they get plenty of attention, hugs, treats and love while they are here with us at their home away from home … We want them to have as much fun on their vacation as you have on yours ... One of us is home almost all of the time ... 95% of the time one of us is with your little ones ... we play with them and watch just about everything they do ... We have a large gated kitchen ... extra-large gated Trex deck and also a very large, beautiful, gated play area with grass on either side that our little guests love to play in ,,, we designed it just for them and they love it ... we also have flood lights for nighttime that light up the entire yard and cameras on the deck and play area so we always know what your little one is doing and who they are playing with every minute they are outside ... *** Due to the fact that we give every dog as much individual attention as possible we do not accept drop-offs or pick-ups before 10 am ... we do not like to interrupt their eating, going out and morning play time with other dogs arriving or departing ... it creates a much calmer and better environment for your puppy and keeps them and happier while they are here ...
