Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion for me. I’ve been volunteering in animal shelters since I was a teenager, and more recently, I’ve fostered and volunteered with the amazing non-profit Kitty Cat Connection. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless cats and dogs in need—and every one of them has held a special place in my heart. I’ve always had pets of my own, too—right now, I share my home with four wonderful dogs and five cats, including Snoopy, my 16-year-old Beagle-Basset mix who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day how special senior pets are. With that kind of experience, I understand the love, patience, and responsibility it takes to care for animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. When your pets are with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. Whether they need extra cuddles, a calm presence, or someone to match their energy, I’ll give them the same attention and care I give my own. You can count on me to keep them safe, happy, and loved while you're away.

Susan is fabulous! This is the first time leaving our pets with anyone who is not a close friend or family, and she exceeded our expectations. She was wonderful with our very senior dog (even getting up to take her out in the middle of the night), and kept us up to date on how things were going throughout the weekend. She didn’t see much of our sweet skiddish kitty, but also ensured her needs were met. I would highly recommend Susan and will use her again if the need arises!
We cannot say enough good things about Susan. Susan is highly communicative and responsive, from the initial Meet and Greet, through our trip, and upon our return. She was also respectful of our house and our pets. Susan provided daily updates and pictures of our dogs. When we got back from our trip, you could tell our dogs were well taken care of and in good spirits. We look forward to booking future trips knowing our dogs are in great hands. We highly recommend booking with Susan!
Susan house sat our Labradors, Maddie and Piper for the first time. We are beyond pleased with the exceptional quality of attention and care she provided. Susan was always on-time, professional, friendly, and showed she cared about our dogs. She didn’t hesitate to ask questions or provide updates. Both dogs took to her immediately and she treated them like her own. The house was absolutely spotless when we returned. We will definitely be asking her to house sit again in the future!!
We found out at the last minute that our spring break accommodation did not allow cats, and Susan saved the day! We always prefer someone who has experience with cats, and Susan’s experience and love for all animals shone through from even the first meeting. When we had questions after coming home, Susan was responsive and helpful.
Susan was so great with our dogs and they loved her too. Our shy girl is usually shy with new people but she went right up to her without hardly any hesitation at all. Susan followed all of the routine instructions I left for her and gave me updates on my doggos every day. Would love to have her stay for us again in the future. Thanks so much.
Susan has watched our three dogs multiple times and has been amazing. She has helped with our older dog in the past as well as a new puppy over the past couple years. She loves animals, has a wonderful home and yard, and is a lovely person!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m home and available throughout the day to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s midday potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I can be there when they need me most.
