Lifelong dog owner for your family!
I am a caring, experienced lifelong dog owner, used to looking after up to 3 dogs for families who have more than one furry friend at home. I have been a dog mum to everything from feisty terriers to timid beagles. For me it's a real enjoyment to spend time with them, playing walking and 'talking'. Over the last ten years I've focused on adopting rescue dogs who have often been frail and needing medication, recovering from operations or with illnesses such as epilepsy. Some have been prone to little accidents - but we know it can happen to the best! I am Dog First Aid Certified and am experienced in administering medication (as directed). I can also deal with things like bandages, post-surgery dog 'hats' etc... PLEASE NOTE that I usually ask for a minimum of 5 days' booking during the main holiday periods, and that I cover Leicester City Centre and North through Birstall and Loughborough.

I appreciate that you know best how and what your dog needs when I come to your home, or take your dog on a walk, so I am very respectful of your rules for your pet and I'm mindful of the importance of keeping the same rules and regularity for your furry family member. This is the second time that Susan has stayed and looked after Milly. We cannot fault or praise Susan enough. Milly was very well cared for. We are looking at dates to see when we can have Susan again - thank you x🐾
Susan is utterly lovely! I knew the moment I met her that I could trust her with our dogs, and also that they would enjoy their time with her. Whilst we were away, Susan kept us up to date with their day and also sent photos. It was both reassuring and wonderful to see! Our dogs have very different personalities but she cared for them so well, including using her initiative when one of the dogs showed signs of being unwell/off her food. Thank you so much, Susan! We would love for you to stay again!
We contacted Susan and she came out for a meet and greet. We instantly warmed to Susan who was friendly, professional and most importantly, Susan was so lovely with Milly. We have just come back from a few days away with Susan house sitting and looking after Milly. Everything has been so easy. Susan kept us updated and sent photos. She has left the house as she found it and had even stripped her bed and washed her bedding as well as putting the garden cushions away as it looks like rain. Milly has clearly been very well looked after. Susan has been a gem and we are so pleased that we have found her. We really cannot recommend her enough - thank you x
Susan has been fantastic with my 14 year old boy. He has definitely made a new friend. I can recommend Susan to any anxious dog owner. I don’t like leaving Dexter but my daughter’s wedding wasn’t something I could miss. Susan put my mind at rest and being able to relax due to not worrying about my boy, meant I had a fantastic time. I got regular updates and felt that Dexter was in very safe hands and he was really relaxed and had a great weekend too. He’s not used to strangers and can be very fussy but Susan’s experience and comfort around dogs really show. I’d happily leave a 10 star rating and will used Susan again with complete confidence. Susan was great with Oliver again, and sent regular communications - including a video of Oliver - before the booking and during. We feel very confident leaving Oliver in her care!
Fabulous - Susan arrived on time and was lovely with Oliver and sent updates. Oliver was happy and calm with her and we felt very safe and comfortable leaving her with Oliver and our home :)

Schedule
I work part-time, from home, and now have an empty nest, so I can be very flexible around what each pet family needs. Weekends too.
