Have had a dog all my life and was lucky enough that all our family dogs slept with me and now, of course, my two little ones and all the ones I host that like to sleep in bed too. It’s like one big slumber party, for the dogs, and well honestly, myself as well and during the winter a little extra heat. For the past 27 years I have had 4 dogs (2 of which I currently am the mother). Have personally trained them to be sociable, sweet, potty trained, and off leash doggies. Typically we go on walks throughout the day for any duration, I just read and follow what they want to do, if my older one wants to go in early I bring him in and continue with the other one. Even when I walk your dogs, I watch them to see if they need to get out more energy or still go potty and try to do my best to make sure they do before I bring them back home (sometimes my schedule or the weather does not allow the extra time, but if it does and they need it, no worries, it’s on me). In the process of an official dog training course so that I have the credentials to do train puppies and dogs on Rover soon. My passion has always been to help people and found out while doing Rover, love to help puppies and their owners too, to get the best dog for you. With consistency, patience, positive reinforcement, lots of love, talking, and more of my secret techniques we normally end up with well behaved, sociable, in the end well trained puppies and dogs. Just depends on how much time you have and what you ideally want your puppy or dog to learn and know. I have cared for puppies and my senior dogs and all the time in between.
