I plan my days around walks, meals, and companionship. Since I work locally, I can stop home during lunch for walks and check-ins, so pets are never left alone for long stretches. I’m home often and provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, and calm downtime throughout the day, ensuring dogs receive consistent, attentive care rather than being fit in between other tasks.

Pet care experience
Due to my allergies to shedding dogs, I care exclusively for hypoallergenic, low-shedding breeds in my home. Shedding breeds are welcome for drop-in care or walks at your home. I host a maximum of three dogs at a time to provide focused, one-on-one attention. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities—from shy or anxious pups to playful companions and gentle seniors. I’m comfortable administering medications and tailoring activities to each dog’s energy and needs. I recently said goodbye to my beloved senior dog Zoey, and the love and care I shared with her is at the heart of how I care for every dog. I also made homemade, nutritious meals inspired by Zoey that I can tailor for your dog if you’d like.

Susan is a phenomenal caretaker. She has helped me tremendously with watching my two pups, and they get along wonderfully with her own dog. She always keeps me updated while she has them, which gives me so much peace of mind. On more than one occasion, she has even gone out of her way to pick up additional wet food when they ran out - truly above and beyond. My dogs are always so excited to go spend time with her whenever I’m out of town, which says everything. If you’re hesitant, don’t be - Susan is an amazing caretaker who will make sure your pup feels loved, safe, and right at home.
