I’m a former teacher, experienced travel professional, and lifelong animal lover. Over the years, I’ve rescued, fostered, and cared for many dogs and cats—and today, I share my home with Lola, a 5 lb. ball of fluff and personality. I’m home all day, offering a calm and nurturing environment, along with lots of personalized care. Whether we’re soaking up the sun outside or relaxing indoors, your dog will be safe, loved, and spoiled like one of my own. No scheduled times for outside here. We encourage our pup guests to go outside as much as they like. Our guests go out multiple times a day, whether it is to go potty or to romp outside and enjoy the outdoors. They are never unsupervised. _________________________________ A Home Away from Home Imagine dropping your dog off at a busy kennel—strange smells, loud noises, and an unfamiliar routine. Even the most easy-going dogs can feel overwhelmed. In my home, your pup becomes part of the family. Instead of being confined to a crate, they’re free to explore, nap on the couch, relax in a sunny spot, or play in the yard. I work to maintain your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible—whether that’s daily nap schedules, or feeding times—helping them feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. _________________________________ One-on-One Attention Unlike kennels, which often house many dogs at once, I care for a very small number of pets to ensure that each one receives the attention and love they deserve. Your dog won't be just another guest—they'll be a temporary member of the family. Most importantly, I’m a dog owner myself, and I understand the little things that matter: a favorite toy, a certain feeding bowl, or a bedtime cuddle. It’s these details that help reduce stress and anxiety, and make your pet feel truly at home. In essence, it's like visiting grandma and grandpa's house. We love on them. Spoil them and then send them home! _________________________________ Less Stress, More Comfort Kennels can be chaotic: barking dogs, confined spaces, and unfamiliar caretakers. That’s a lot for any dog to handle. In contrast, home-based boarding offers a peaceful environment where your dog has room to move freely, play on their own terms, and rest when they choose. There are no crates here—unless requested for crate-trained pups. Your dog will enjoy a fully fenced backyard, supervised outdoor time, and cozy indoor spaces that feel like home. _________________________________ Small Guest List, Big Attention To provide the highest quality care, I only accept: • Up to 3 small dogs at a time • 1 larger dog (up to 50 lbs.) or 2 from same family. We do not mixed with small dogs unless all owners approve. This allows me to maintain a calm, focused environment without overcrowding.
