I work part-time and love a good hike in the morning! I have access to trails from my front door. My dogs have always been family and I am without a dog right now and am missing their happy energy. We have a lot of walking paths around the neighborhood if your pup isn't the hiking type. The backyard has grass and is fully fenced. We can play ball, hunt for treats in plastic eggs (think easter eggs!) or just lie around and enjoy life.

Dog are family members. They can be where they are comfortable. I have a lovely backyard with grass that is fully fenced. I don't have any dogs or cats of my own. We do have one guinea pig and often the terriers and boarder collies LOVE to watch "GP TV"! She is in a crate and completely safe. As I only have one dog (or multiple dogs from one family) in the house at a time, I can customize my day to your dog's schedule.

Home looking for some dog energy!
Pet care experience
I have had my own dogs for 30 years, and grew up with dogs. I massage horses and dogs for a living. I am currently in an animal osteopathy program and have taken canine behavior, anatomy, neuroscience, and anatomy classes. I volunteer for a local dog rescue that specializes in Jack Russells. I am very familiar with high energy dogs (JRTs, Border Collies, etc.). I have fostered geriatric dogs for the rescue, and meds and messes don't scare me. I've dealt with blind dogs, deaf dogs, and dogs with dementia with great love. I have stairs but can easily section off areas of the house if there is a safety issue (ie going up stairs or getting lost).
Reviews

I would definitely recommend Susan if you’re looking to board your dog for an extended period of time. She was well prepared, and I appreciated that she set up a meet & greet so my dog and I could get to know her after we initially reached out. She sent photos and updates daily so we could see our pup, which were greatly appreciated! She was also great at communication throughout our dog’s entire stay. Our dog really enjoyed her place and we felt at ease knowing he was cared for while we were away!

Nothing but praise. Susan knows dogs, and all their tricks. Communicates timely and well. The best description I can give, is that leaving a dog in Susans care is like leaving them with a trusted friend or relative.
Sue loves dogs... she's had her own dog for many years so she knows how important it is to get them out for a walk and feed them what they need. For her normal job she is a Horse Bodyworker, so she knows her way around animals. She took care of my Jack Russell Pixie and Pixie hated to leave Sue's place...
