Wonderfully attentive care even during a heat advisory. Responsive to our dog’s needs. The house was spotless with linens refreshed, guest room spotless with a happy dog too! I would recommend her to anyone; she’s ready for anything and competently caring as needed.

Susan was kind to the pups and minded the home. Out of respect for her privacy, I will not write details, but I will say I had to fly home from my trip early and unfortunately it did not work out. I wish her the best of luck.

Susan is by far the best rover I have ever had! She gives my pups so much attention and they love her. I always book her if she’s available and highly recommend!

Susan is actually the best!!! She went above and beyond. Spent a way more time with my dogs than was required and took them to the dog park (their favorite place in the world!!) She is super good at communication and takes the best pictures too. So wonderful to work with her again!

We hired her for a whole weekend. She did arrive a little late, but she kept the house clean and my dogs happy. She sent me updates regularly. I’d definitely ask her back when we need her.

There were pros and cons to our experience with Susan. In a nutshell, I will not book with her again. Pros: Susan provided daily pics of the dogs & updates, her communication was fantastic. I felt very confident while away that the dogs were being cared for. Susan even purchased more rice to make for the dogs' special diet when the bag ran out earlier than expected. Susan was gentle & kind during our meet and greet and both dogs responded to her well before I hired her. Cons: Unfortunately, Susan was not a good house guest during her 2-week stay. I found glass on the kitchen floor in several spots, when asked she admitted to breaking a plate and some jars. In and of itself, that's not a big deal, we all break things. However, it wasn't communicated or adequately cleaned up. I also found glass under the couch - one of the dogs picked up glass and took it under the couch. Susan left 13 days ago and as of this morning, I still can't get the cigarette smell out of the guest bedroom and bathroom where she stayed. It took 6 days for the incense smell to fully clear out from the rest of the house - my husband has asthma - both of these issues are very big problems. The pillowcases had quite a bit of black makeup smeared all over them, a white washcloth and towel were ruined with black makeup. Another towel has a burn mark in it, when asked, Susan indicated it was from her incense. The shower curtain rod was pulled off the wall at some point - noticeable due to the black streak on the wall and it was reinstalled upside down (it's a curved shape to make extra room in the shower). I had to clean dried food off of 2 walls, 7 cupboards, and the refrigerator in the kitchen. There was a very wet bath towel left in the bed where she slept. I'm not sure what Susan put in the dogs' snuffle mats - they were wet, discolored, moldy, and smelled so awful I trashed $50 worth of newish mats. I've used Rover for years and had wonderful success with sitters in the past. We worked with one individual for 3 years before moving to VA. We had hoped to find someone new locally that we could use going forward, unfortunately Susan is not that sitter.
