For pet parents, I take pride in being thorough, conscientious, and empathetic. I send photos, updates, and anything else that puts your mind at ease. These are your kiddos, and I make sure they're cared for like the special little fur babies that they are. Rules are followed, your home is secure, and your pet is content. In my home, they're treated like rockstars with your rules in place and spoiled to the point the other pets in the neighborhood have secondhand embarrassment. We do have a house bunny, but he is in a separate, secured room so your pet has all the time, space, and attention they need. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and can spend all my time with them, go on walks, and do anything else they need to be happy and content.

After learning more about your pet's likes and dislikes, we'll follow their executive leadership style accordingly. They enjoy quiet moping and snuggling? I'm on it. They want to go outside and run around or go to the dog park? Let's do it. They want to do a dance involving cat toys and a game of "where's my mousey" to the soundtrack to Hamilton? We are on our way to earning the Golden Buzzer. If your pet is prone to boredom or gets a little sad when you're away, I'll also take the time to let them get to know me, offer some affection, and get them engaged with favorite toys or time outside (when appropriate). I balance giving them a little space to warm up with affection, fun, and attention and work to earn their trust. If they haven't asked for me by name, it just means I need to dazzle and knock their stripes off the next time I visit.

Susan is a wonderful pet sitter and I enthusiastically recommend her! She cared for my cat many times while I was gone for weekends or extended trips and I always felt confident traveling knowing that my pet was in great hands. Even when my cat was struggling with health issues, Susan was able to administer her medication and she was the one who finally got my cat to eat! It is clear that Susan loves animals and treats all pets as if they were her own. She is trustworthy friendly, and communicative. It’s never easy leaving our beloved pets home while we are away, but it is a gift to have someone like Susan taking care of them!
