I'm currently accepting multiple dogs at a time (typically 2-3) and many pups truly enjoy the social time, play and companionship. That said, I want every dog to feel safe and stress-free, so communication is important when you book! If your dog needs to be the only dog present (reactive, anxious or prefer solo care) please let me know before booking. I'm happy to accommodate single dog stays when I'm able to plan for it in advance. Same family dogs are always welcomed together- I'm happy to host multiple dogs from the same household. There may occasionally be a brief overlap during drop offs and pickups, so if your dog cannot be around other dogs at all please make sure to mention that up front so I can schedule appropriately. My goal is to create the best possible experience for your dog whether that's a fun social stay or calm private-like- the more I know ahead of time the better I can tailor their care. Feel free to reach out with me with any questions I’d love to meet you and your pup --Also if you have dates that you know you will be going out of town, in advance, please go ahead and message me and I’ll block my schedule until you're ready to book.

We left our 8 year old black lab in Susan's capable hands for over two weeks and based on the pictures she sent us and his condition when we picked him up, we could tell Buddy was well cared for in our absence. We'll definitely be a repeat client. Brian
Wow! Susan was amazing with Sadie. I had a couple of appointments out of the area and needed a sitter for the day. Sadie felt very comfortable with her and immediately I got a photo with Sadie being the lap dog princess she is. When we picked her up she was very relaxed and happy. Would definitely recommend. Susan does a great job caring for our dog. She seems to have a great time there while we're gone.
Susan and Mike were amazing with Athena! They clearly took great care of and loved on her while we were traveling. My pup keeps trying to get through a doggy door that doesn’t exist at my house. 😂 Highly recommend and will definitely reserve with Susan again!

Schedule
I am a full time remote worker so I am at home all day. I do spend 1 hour at the YMCA working out but I am not on the go very much.

I have a fenced in backyard and a deck for those pups that like sunbathing. We also have squirrels to help exercise those pups that like to chase them around!
A typical day
We have a common area in our neighborhood for those older dogs that don't want a long walk, or if the weather is too hot, we just walk around over there in the shade. If the weather is good I usually take the pup for a 1-2 mile walk at White Deer Park. I like chasing the dogs around and throwing toys if the pup is interested. If not, then we just sit on the deck and talk about life in general. I especially sit outside with the small dogs so owls don't kidnap them!
