For dogs in my home or in your home, I like to make sure your pet has the things they need. If it's a special toy, a crate (so they have their own den area), extra tasty treats, you name it, I want to know it! I am also super sensitive about how the weather might affect your pet– especially for the super big and fluffy pups. General in home care revolves around a scheduled routine that works best for your pet, with multiple potty and sniff breaks. I want to make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible, even if they are a little bit on the anxious side. I am familiar with walking a variety of different sized dogs with various behavioral needs. Additionally, I am comfortable walking and working with reactive dogs, and find watching them to be a very rewarding experience. I will work with a sense of care and caution to make sure I understand how your dog expresses their comfortability with both me, the leash, and the environment around them. Generally speaking, I love to get to know a bit more about pups before meeting them! From there I can easily anticipate some of their needs based on behavior, environment, and breed.

I’ve known Suri P. for over 7 years and her love for dogs and animals have never been unnoticed. I’ve been able to have my active Pitbull around Suri and have seen her take control of play, grounding and leader skills. You are in trustworthy hands when it comes to her care and attention to detail.
Suri was great with my dogs: lab mix and rat terrier mix. She took care of them during the scheduled window and followed instructions like making them sit before feeding them. She worked with my stubborn terrier to sit and wait, letting the human in the door first. Both dogs loved seeing her. Highly recommend Suri for treating my dogs like her own, and able to count on her to take care of dogs when needed.
Suri is exceptionally well qualified when it comes to caring for and working with dogs. She has been a dog owner herself for more than 15 years and has a deep understanding of canine behavior, training, and day-to-day care. In addition to her personal experience, Suri has been actively involved with local humane societies, where she has helped run workshops for dogs of all ages, including puppy behavior and socialization classes. She has also spent many years working with independent dog boarding and training organizations, giving her hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, personalities, and behavioral needs. Suri is patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excellent with dogs. Her extensive experience and strong background in both training and care make her someone I would feel completely confident trusting with any dog.
Suri is a wonderful caregiver for your beloved four-legged friend! I have known her for 15 years and she has not only given endless love to ALL of my many animals over that time, but done a fantastic job in personally caring for my current dog Leo. He LOVES his auntie Suri and I have zero doubts in my mind when leaving him in her care. She will be diligent in adhering to your pet's routine, provide all of the walks they could possibly ask for, and top it all of with incredible love (and a fun nickname) for your pet. I HIGHLY recommend Suri as a pet-sitter and caregiver.

Schedule
I am currently freelancing so I will have plenty of time to walk, play, and care for your pets! I’m very flexible with scheduling and am conscious of how the weather might affect your pet as well. On Saturdays, I will be free after 3:00pm.
