With over 12 years of experience caring for dogs, I bring a calm, respectful, and attentive approach to every pup I meet. I started out as a teen, pet sitting for family friends, and quickly became the go-to dog sitter among my own circle as I got older. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, gaining experience with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—including seniors and shy rescues. I understand that every dog is different: some need high-energy play and stimulation, while others need a gentle pace and plenty of quiet companionship. I focus on building trust with each dog by meeting them where they are—whether that means tossing a ball in the yard, going for long walks, or simply giving them space and comfort while you're away.

She is so genuinely kind and patient, and she has been absolutely wonderful with our mini Aussie. Surekha has been an incredible cat sitter and is my go-to when I’m out of town. Schedule
I’m currently working remotely part time so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available for housesitting, drop-in’s, and walking.

Whether I’m dropping in, staying overnight, or taking your pet for a walk, their safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I’m attentive to details like locked doors, leash safety, proper feeding, and making sure medications (if needed) are given correctly. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and routines, leaving things just as I found them, and making sure your pets feel secure in their environment. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, so your pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away.
Pets
A typical day
Every pet has their own personality and needs, so I tailor each day to match their energy and routine. For dogs, that might mean a long morning walk, followed by some playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of praise and cuddles. I love mixing in sniffari-style walks or basic training games to keep their minds and bodies active. For cats, I’m all about creating a calm, comfortable environment. Whether it’s interactive play with wand toys, brushing, or just lounging together, I let the cat lead and make sure they get both stimulation and rest. I’m also a pro at giving treats and attention on their terms! Throughout the day, I keep water fresh, clean up after them, and maintain a calm, respectful space, whether I’m visiting or staying overnight. You can expect plenty of updates, happy tails, and purring reports while you’re away!
