We only take one dog at a time. No sharing attention, no competing for space or affection, just your dog, fully at the center of our home. That one-on-one care is something we feel strongly about. And yes, I said "we" - my husband is a huge dog lover too, so your pup gets a two-person team fully invested in their comfort and happiness. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your dog has company throughout the day, no long stretches alone. I'm also very active (I run regularly and strength train), so high-energy dogs who need long walks, runs, or serious outdoor play are right up my alley. I'm the kind of sitter who follows your care instructions to the letter, sends photo and video updates without you having to ask, and genuinely worries about whether your dog is adjusting okay. Whether your pup needs structured routines, extra patience settling in, or just someone who'll sit on the floor giving belly rubs for an unreasonable amount of time, that's me.

Have used a handful of Rovers in my years and none have compared to the level of updates that I was able to read through during my time away. I know my pup was well taken care of and these hosts were the most patient with my handful and a half Boxer mix. 10/10 just awesome all around!
We had such a wonderful experience leaving our golden here! They kept us updated throughout the entire stay with regular check-ins, which gave us so much peace of mind. Pet care isn't something I squeeze in, it's a natural part of how my days already look. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so any dog in my care has real companionship throughout the day, not just check-ins between other commitments. I understand the rhythm dogs need : consistent feeding times, daily exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of downtime too. I've been hands-on with dog care for years, from daily walks and playtime to multi-week overnight stays, so I'm comfortable with the full picture of what it takes to keep a dog happy and settled in a new environment. My husband and I are both active and home most of the day, so your dog fits right into our routine rather than being squeezed around it. Whether it's a morning walk, an afternoon play session, or just quiet couch time in the evening, there's always someone around giving your pup attention.

1. Provide a safe and comfortable environment: I would make sure that my home is a safe and welcoming environment for the pet. This would include ensuring that the pet has access to clean water, food, a comfortable place to sleep, and plenty of toys to play with. 2. Stick to their routine: I would ask the pet's owner about their routine, and try to stick to it as closely as possible. This would include feeding the pet at the same time each day, taking them for walks at their usual times, and ensuring they get plenty of exercises. 3. Give them plenty of attention: Pets need lots of attention and affection, and I would make sure to give them plenty of both. This would include playing with them, cuddling them, and spending time with them to help them feel comfortable and loved. 4. Monitor their health: I would keep a close eye on the pet's health, and look out for any signs of illness or distress. If I notice anything out of the ordinary, I would contact the pet's owner or a veterinarian as soon as possible. 5. Clean up after them: Pets can make a mess, so I would make sure to clean up after them to keep my home clean and hygienic. This would include cleaning up any accidents or messes, as well as regularly washing their food and water bowls. 6. I want every stay to feel easy and safe, for your dog and for mine as a home. So a few basics: your pup should be house-trained, good around people, and not the type to bark the neighborhood down. I'll also collect vaccination records, flea/tick prevention details, and an emergency contact before we confirm anything — just so we're all covered. Overall, my goal as a dog sitter would be to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for the pet. I understand that every pet is unique, and I would work closely with the owner to ensure that their pet receives the best possible care while in my home.
A typical day
Every dog gets a routine tailored to them : I always check in with owners on their pup's usual schedule before the stay. A typical day starts with a morning walk around my Sunnyvale neighborhood, breakfast, and some playtime. Midday is for a longer walk or outdoor adventure, followed by quiet time for naps and snuggles. Afternoons mean more play, a second walk, and dinner on their regular schedule. Evenings wind down with couch cuddles and settling in for the night. I send photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know your pup is happy and having a great time. Walks around the neighborhood and nearby parks, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, and lots of belly rubs and cuddle sessions. I love figuring out what each dog enjoys most, whether that's chasing a ball, sniffing every bush on a long walk, or just being a lap dog on the couch. For dogs who love the outdoors, I'll take them to local dog-friendly parks and trails. Everything is based on the dog's energy level, personality, and what their owner is comfortable with.
