Safety and trust are my top priorities. Before caring for any pet, I make sure their surroundings are secure and hazard-free, and I always double-check that all doors are locked whenever I leave the house. Fresh water is available at all times, and I clean up promptly whenever there’s a mess so their space stays tidy and comfortable. I also keep their sleeping area neat and inviting (when they aren’t sleeping in the bed!) — though I know some pups love to happily frumple a freshly made blanket, and that’s all part of the fun!
