Hi, I’m Summyr Lynn! I offer professional overnight pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking in Tucson. I’ve been working with Rover for about three years, and I can honestly say I’ve never been happier in any other line of work. Meeting you and your precious animals brings me so much joy—it’s truly a dream job! I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, especially of dogs and cats, and I’m fascinated by the trust and connection they share with us. Having had pets as part of my family, I’ve learned to understand their minds, read their body language, and cater to their needs. With nearly a decade of experience as a nanny and pet sitter, I’m dedicated to providing the same love and care to your furry friends as I would my own. Your pets will be safe, happy, and well-cared for with me.

When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize sticking to their usual schedule to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. On workdays, I start by feeding them their first meal of the day, refreshing their water, and providing any necessary morning exercise or potty breaks. Midday, I’ll return for a potty break, snacks, and more exercise if needed. In the evening, I’ll make sure they’re fed, given plenty of attention, and taken out for a final potty break before bedtime. On my days off, I’ll be home with them for most of the day, giving them even more companionship. Rest assured, I’ll always be there overnight to provide comfort and care.

Summyr took wonderful care of our 11-week-old Weimaraner, Hope, in our home. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly comfortable handling a young, high-energy puppy. The updates and photos she shared were especially appreciated, seeing how relaxed and happy Hope was, truly warmed our hearts. It was clear she was being cared for with attention and kindness, and I could visibly see Hope trying to stop Summyr from leaving. Summyr took care of our 2 French bulldogs for the weekend. She was communicative, caring & thoughtful. The girls loved her and were sad to see her go! We look forward to our next booking.

Summyr is absolutely amazing! She took care of our Sheltie puppy (actual puppy) as if he was her own. She sent regular updates with pictures which we appreciated greatly. She also left us a lovely welcome home note. Summyr is such a kind, compassionate, competent person, who clearly loves her work (and it shows!) I will definitely be booking with Summyr again if she’ll have us! I highly recommend Summyr to anyone looking for a pet or house sitter. :)

I love yoga and walking in nature, which makes dog walking a joy, and I’m also a bit of a homebody—perfect for snuggling on the couch with your furry friends during quiet moments. Pet care naturally fits into my lifestyle, and I truly enjoy every moment spent with animals!
