Distance is measured by Google Maps driving routes. 🐈4 Years of Cat Shelter Volunteer Experience From 2018 to 2022, I volunteered on weekends in the cat room at PAWS, an animal shelter in North Lynnwood. During that time, I had the honor of caring for many cats of different ages, personalities, and health conditions. I have also regularly cat-sat for family and friends, and I’m very comfortable caring for cats with different routines, temperaments, and needs. 🐈⬛About My Cat, Basanova I adopted my rescue cat, Basanova, in 2017. When she first came home, she was toothless, had a broken tail, and had urinary and asthma-related health issues. She had also experienced abuse in the past, so she was very anxious around people and slow to trust. With lots of love, patience, and consistent care, she has become a loving and healthy girl who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and her peaceful senior life. Building that bond with her has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life, and it deeply shaped the way I care for cats: with patience, gentleness, respect, and attention to each cat’s comfort level.

* For escape artists, I take extra care when entering and exiting your home. * For cats who are shy, withdrawn, or scared, I stay calm, patient, and respectful of their comfort level while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. * For senior cats, I pay close attention to any changes in appetite, appearance, behavior, litter box habits, and daily routine. * When your cat is comfortable, I’m happy to offer gentle pets, massage, brushing, soothing music, and quality playtime. * For every drop-in visit, I’ll send a Rover Card with updates and cute photos/videos through the app.

🗺️SERVICE RANGE I serve homes within a 2-mile driving distance from Harbour Pointe Golf Club (11817 Harbour Pointe Blvd, Mukilteo, WA 98275). Distance is measured by Google Maps driving routes. ⚒️WEEKDAYS I usually prefer early morning, late afternoon, and evening visits. 🏖️WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS I’m mostly available for weekend and holiday visits.
- CatsSummer can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- When we schedule the Meet & Greet, I’ll send you a short questionnaire through Google Forms. It covers the main care details listed below, and it would be helpful if you’re able to fill it out ahead of time. No worries if you’re not able to complete it beforehand. I can also bring a printed copy and take detailed notes during our in-person discussion. The questionnaire includes: 1. Your cat’s personality, feeding instructions/restrictions, medical needs, litter box habits, favorite toys, treats, activities, and daily routine. 2. Emergency local contact information and vet details in case I’m unable to reach you. 3. Home access instructions, including how to arm/disarm the security system, if applicable. 4. Mail/package collection, plant watering, garbage/recycling take-out or bring-in schedule, and any other house-sitting tasks, if needed.
