I have had a lifelong love for animals and have cared for pets of all kinds since childhood, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience through both personal pet ownership and professional pet sitting. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, energy levels, breeds, and sizes. My care includes feeding routines and special diets, litter box maintenance, medication administration, enrichment, walks, and following detailed instructions to ensure consistency and comfort while owners are away. My goal is to provide calm, attentive care tailored to each pet’s personality and routine, with a focus on creating a low-stress, predictable environment, especially for pets who are shy, sensitive, or require special care. I have been working for Rover since 2018 and pride myself on being dependable, detail-oriented, and easy to communicate with. Whether it’s drop-in visits or walks, I aim to provide reliable care that pet parents can trust.

I understand how important it is to feel confident about who is caring for your pets and entering your home. I provide reliable, respectful care focused on maintaining your pet’s normal routine and comfort. For dogs, this includes drop-in visits, potty breaks, yard time, play, and companionship. For cats and more independent pets, I focus on quiet presence, feeding routines, litter care, and attentive monitoring based on their needs. I want to ensure both pets and owners feel comfortable, informed, and at ease during every visit.

This was our first time using Rover. After careful searching, we found Summer and she was very nice to come meet Oscar, and we could see they had a good match! Thank you Summer for taking care of Oscar and we’ll definitely be taking her help again!

Summer is our go-to sitter for our cats. We know they are being loved and cared for while we are away. She spends time playing with our high energy kitten and is patient with our older shy cat.
