Working part time as a server, it gives me extra time to be flexible in dog sitting, overnight care, and walks! I also provide training for dogs upon request of the owner.

In others homes, it’s important to me to keep dogs (or cats) schedule as close to their daily routine as possible. I will also clean up after the pets as well as myself and do light cleaning if needed. I have experience working with older animals and administering medication (vet experience) so I am comfortable doing that as well. I love to train dogs and if needed can be provided as well as adequate mental and physical exercise as it is very important for all dogs. Safety is a HUGE importance and will be one of my biggest concerns when watching your pet.

Since every dog is different, I would like to know if they are friendly with dogs, like to go for outings (pet friendly stores, parks, etc.), and if the owners would like training or any quirks your pet has! I would also like to know if the dog (small) likes being picked up, and what your pet does or does not like. I have no breed preference. -allergies, preferences (food/people/other animals), triggers, etc.
A typical day
Mental stimulation is just as (if not more) important than physical exercise, so I love to do brain games- lick mats, kongs, chew time, snuffle mats, scatter feedings (and more) with your pet and their food/treats. As well as running and sniffing through local parks/neighborhoods, beach visits (safely), and walks! (Owner approved)

Hi there! My name is Summer, and I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on animal care experience. My background includes working as a veterinary technician, as well as experience in boarding, daycare, and training facilities, along with years of private pet sitting for friends, family, clients. I have since expanded and became a dog trainer and dedicated my continuing my education in dog body language, behavior, and overall care. My goal as a pet sitter is to create a stress free and relaxed/fun environment while you’re away. I know how stressful and important it is to find a reliable pet sitter- so I pride myself on making sure I stick to your pets routine while meeting their physical exercise needs, along with providing enrichment/mental stimulation (if they are into that) to help tire their mind out; because a tired dog=happy dog. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, small animals, and reptiles, and I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed. Whether your pet needs structured care, extra patience, or just lots of love and attention while you’re away, I tailor my care to fit their individual needs and routine.
