Availability
I work full time at an animal hospital, but my weekends can be dedicated to your pets as well! I can provide daily check ins as needed, but I plan for this to be something I can do as needed.

Our furry friends are just as much apart of our homes as we are. I believe pets should feel comfortable in their homes, with extra special places just for them. For my personal home, my cat has free roam but I have created spots for her to have as safe-zones as well.
Information Summer P. would like to know about your pet
My preference is for pets low on the FAS (fear, aggression, and stress) scale. While I understand the correct tools and traits to care for them, I prefer to do this at my work place only with other professionals. If your pet loves people, it is just like me! Please let me know about your pets specific needs, and we can always figure out a plan!
A typical day
I understand pets that need stimulation. I need it too! While watching your pets I will be sure to play their favorite games, play with their favorite toys, and of course combine my active lifestyles with them. I love to go on walks and runs, and would not mind your pet accompanying me.

Pet care experience
Growing up with animals in the house was an obvious start. However, the past few years I have transitioned into full time animal care positions. I previously worked at a local cat cafe, where I helped take care of 12 rescue cats while helping them get to find their forever homes. Currently, I work at an animal hospital, where I devote every day to dogs and cats getting preventative, medical, and surgical care. As far as animal care, I am fear-free certified as well as cat friendly veterinary professional certified.

Summer is amazing! She accepted a very very last minute request for my 2 cats and they loved her. My younger boy needs medication and is very shy. Summer was so patient and gained his trust to be able to administer his meds safely. I highly recommend Summer and will definitely be booking her again.
