My journey into animal welfare commenced over two decades ago, collaborating closely with rescue organizations to facilitate adoptions and safely transport animals to their fur-ever homes. Always prioritizing their well-being, I ensured they felt secure and cherished under my watch. Additionally, l've dedicated myself to fostering animals in need, ensuring they receive the gentle love and care they deserve while awaiting adoption. My professional background includes a tenure at a prominent veterinary clinic in Memphis, TN, where I managed front desk operations, coordinated appointments, and facilitated the care of pets in various capacities, including daycare and boarding. Attentive to each pet's unique needs, I diligently followed instructions provided by their guardians, particularly when it came to specialized care and medication administration. I make it my mission to prioritize your pet's comfort and happiness above all else. You can trust that they'll enjoy a safe, nurturing environment filled with engaging activities and precious moments, captured in lots of adorable snapshots! In August of 2022, my husband and I rescued a chocolate lab from Arkansas, that we named Cora. She was extremely anxious and nervous. Her ribs were showing and her coat was very dull. Since then, we’ve spent countless hours working with her and training her. With my holistic approach to health and wellness, along with healthy, REAL food, her ribs are no longer showing and she has a beautiful shiny coat! Cora has come a very long way since then and she is a completely different dog today. Sometimes Cora gets a little anxious and nervous when meeting new people or dogs. Once reassured, she calms down quickly and is ready to get back to her most favorite thing in the world… retrieving her favorite ball! Although it takes her a little bit to warm up to new dogs/people, she is gentle and kind spirited. And Cora never minds to share her toys! It’s just the three of us, in our camp house, on the river. (My husband, Cora and of course, me!) We have lots of space to run and play and a short hiking trail. Please note that our yard is not fenced. Cora stays on site and comes when called. As much as I would love for your fur-baby to run freely with her, I prefer to err on the side of caution, and have your baby remain on a leash at all times.
