Since my recent move to the area, I have switched from having two jobs (vet tech and dog sitting) to just dog sitting. This allows my schedule to be very open and free pretty much whenever.

At my home I have a fenced in back yard where I let my dogs out to play. It is a fairly large yard with lots of room to play. On top of that they have full range of the house and toys. When I am at work one unfortunately has to be kenneled due to her disability while the other two have free range. At a clients home I will do whatever is asked of me. I will give them play time and cuddle time. I will also feed and water them and take them out when ever the clients request. I can also give medicine if need be.

If the dog is dog aggressive or even human aggressive. If there is anything they aren’t allowed to have (ex. Food or toys). If they are allergic to anything or there is any other concerns I need to watch for.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with dogs so they will get plenty of play time with toys. I also love to take my dogs on walks on the trails around me. If owner has no problem with their dog going to the dog park, I will take them along. I also like to do cuddle sessions with dogs and dance sessions.

I have been around dogs all my life and at the moment I own three (one being paraplegic). I have previously worked at a doggy daycare where I got to care for and play with dogs all day. On top of that I also have approximately 6 years of vet tech experience. I graduated from Iowa state in 2021 with a bachelors in animal science with prevet option. I have been dog sitting with rover for the past 5 years. I originally started dog sitting in Des Moines but have recently moved to the Sioux City area and can’t wait to care for your babies! Any age, any breed, and any size, I love them all!

Summer was able to check in on our pup at the last min and even offered to check in on him the evening before during a big storm. Alleviated so much of our stress. We are so thankful for her!
This is the second time we’ve had Summer house sit and she’s been great every time. The house was tidy and she even stayed a little later to feed our dog which was so nice and much appreciated!
Summer was very communicative and easy to work with. Ryder was very happy to have her to check on him!
Summer was an outstanding sitter. Our dog Pickle loved spending the days with her. He was well taken care of and we could enjoy our trip knowing he was in excellent hands!
