House Sitting • Aug 28, 2023

Summer was extremely responsible and flexible doing a great job in the middle of a blackout. She kept us in the loop and took great care of my house and my dog.

Highly recommend! My dogs absolutely love you! Traveling pet free can be stressful. It’s like leaving a child unattended, caretakers must be chosen carefully to meet any of your pets special needs. Summer is an awesome fit! I’ve never felt more relieved knowing they’re well taken care of while I’m away from home. Your confidence and copious amount of love to give as a caretaker is admired! Can’t thank you enough!

I would highly recommend using Summer Lynn for a pet sitter. I’ve used her services several times and she has done a fantastic job! She is on time, responsible, follows directions and is patient and loving with our dog. She has been around many different dogs in her home and feels very comfortable around them and is knowledgeable about their different behaviors.

Safety, trust & environment

I treat all the pets I house sit like my own! I talk and ask them questions as if they’ll respond! I enjoy going on walks and help train dogs if you’d like. For example, how heel and not pull (this is something I have experience doing from fostering animals).

Pets

A typical day

I enjoy taking dogs on walks, and taking them to large areas, such as fields at a park to allow them to run around and get out some energy. I also would be more than happy to take your dog on a car ride anywhere I may be going just to get out of house if this is something they enjoy. A pup cup is alway a fun treat as long as mom and dad allow!

information that’s important for me to know ahead of time if I’m walking or staying with a dog is the behavior of the dog. I need to know how the dog responds to other dogs or animals, or loud sounds on walks, so I can best prepare myself for the walk. I also need to know how they respond to strangers, because at first I am going to be a stranger to them. If I’m staying with your pup I need to know their feeding schedule, are they free feed? Or do they get fed at certain times of the day? Another important detail will be if they’re on any medication, and how I can best administer that medication to your pup! Other things that might be helpful are just little quirks about your pup that might be important for me know about them!
