Highlights
Pet care experience
I love animals!
I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals, which has helped me develop patience, attentiveness, and adaptability. I’m comfortable with both high-energy puppies and senior pets, providing the specific care each stage of life requires—like gentle handling, administering medication, or adjusting activity levels. I also have experience with basic training, feeding schedules, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. What sets me apart is my dedication to treating every pet as an individual, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I’m very organized and can dedicate consistent time for walks, feeding, play, and check-ins. Whether it’s a quick mid-day visit, a longer afternoon walk, or overnight care, I can adjust my schedule to meet the needs of each pet and ensure they get attention and exercise at the right times. I prioritize reliability, so pet owners can trust that their pets will always be cared for on schedule. I take class Monday through Thursday in the mornings so I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and overnight.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment in every pet care situation. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the space is secure, free of hazards, and suited to the pet’s needs—whether that means creating cozy resting areas, keeping food and toys organized, or supervising playtime. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication, and special routines, to give pets consistency and reassurance. I also communicate regularly with owners, providing updates and photos so they can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
Pets
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love keeping them active, engaged, and happy! For dogs, I enjoy going on long walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and practicing basic training commands to keep their minds sharp. If they’re high-energy, I’m always up for park trips or backyard play sessions. For more relaxed or senior pets, I focus on gentle walks, cuddle time, and calm enrichment activities. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with feather wands or laser toys, setting up small obstacle courses, and giving them lots of attention (if they’re social!). I also make sure to stick to their usual routines so they feel comfortable and secure. No matter the pet, I tailor activities to their age, personality, and energy level to make sure they feel safe, loved, and stimulated while their owners are away.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure I provide the best care. It’s important for me to know their daily routine (feeding schedule, walk times, bedtime habits), dietary needs, and any allergies or medical conditions. I also ask about medications, behavioral quirks, fears (like thunderstorms or other dogs), and how they typically respond to new people. I like to understand their personality and energy level so I can tailor activities appropriately. For example, are they high-energy and love long walks, or more relaxed and prefer short strolls and cuddles? I also ask about any training commands they know, house rules (furniture, crates, etc.), and emergency contact information, including their vet. The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable the experience is for both the pet and their owner.
