I tailor care to each animal’s energy level and personality, whether that means relaxed neighborhood walks, time outdoors, play, or quiet companionship. I spend unhurried, attentive time with the pets in my care, being present, observant, and responsive to what they need throughout the day. For cats, I create a calm environment with gentle play or peaceful company. For dogs, I focus on movement, routine, and consistent engagement. I offer overnight companionship for pets who are used to sleeping near their people, helping maintain continuity and ease while you’re away. Rather than quick check-ins, I stay present and engaged so pets receive consistent care, comfort, and attention throughout the day and night.

I keep my schedule intentionally balanced so I can be fully present with the animals I’m caring for, rather than rushing between commitments. Consistency, calm, and trust are central to how I work. I’m now serving Burnsville, Weaverville, Asheville, Johnson City, TN, and surrounding areas. I’m comfortable and confident with daily routines, medications, walks, and maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment. Summer was very attentive and gave us good updates. She took care of Max’ needs very thoroughly (Max deals with a hot spot on his paw and required wearing a cone most times on top of his not Al senior care needs). We certainly can recommend her.
Summer has blown every other dog and housesitter out of the water. Between coming home to a clean house, a satisfied dog, happy cats and clean litter, there really wasn’t a box she didn’t tick! Summer leaves the house in perfect condition. She spend time with my cats so they are well socialized when I get back and treat me like I'd never left. She takes care of plants and even organized the cat food drawer. You could not get a better cat/house sitter.
