I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities for over 20 years. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I provide attentive, reliable care that honors each pet’s routine, temperament, and individual needs. I specialize in long-term and overnight house and pet sitting, and also offer drop-in visits. I keep my schedule intentionally balanced so I can be fully present with the animals I’m caring for, rather than rushing between commitments. Consistency, calm, and trust are central to how I work. I’m now serving Burnsville, Weaverville, Asheville, Johnson City, TN, and surrounding areas. I’m comfortable and confident with daily routines, medications, walks, and maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment. I also care for houseplants and am happy to help with light garden watering and weeding, so your whole home stays tended while you’re away. I communicate clearly, follow instructions carefully, and treat each home with the same respect I give the animals who live there. My goal is for your pets to feel settled, secure, and genuinely cared for, and for you to feel confident knowing your home, plants, and animals are in steady, capable hands.

Summer is amazing and we have joked since our trip that Bodie is depressed that Summer is gone! It was such a relief to have a sitter who sent updates and photos often and enjoyed taking our boy on multiple long walks each day. This is the first time since we have moved to the area that I felt totally at ease leaving our boy.
Summer did an amazing job with our pup Boomer. He is high energy and she was able to handle all his walks and lots of time playing fetch. She kept us updated on how he was doing and sent great photos. I felt so comfortable leaving Boomer with her. I hope she can pet sit again for us soon! I would give her 10 stars if there was an option
Summer provided wonderful care for my cats. She made sure they were cared for, listened to my instructions and kept me informed.
Summer was so friendly and great with my dog! We are excited to have a pet sitter who is comfortable with a bigger dog and willing to come to Spruce Pine.

Schedule
I’m available full-time, seven days a week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. While my schedule is flexible, I’m intentional about the sits I accept so I can give each one the attention it deserves. I specialize in overnight house and pet sitting, offering consistent presence so pets aren’t left alone for long stretches.
