Hi! My name is Summer and I was born and raised in Hawaii. My husband and I, with our 12 year old dog named Sage, have lived in Sacramento for 4 years and we are based in Rocklin, CA. I was trained by a professional kennel operator who happens to be my best friend. I raised many animals growing up, such as cats, lovebirds, rabbits, jackson chameleons, dobermans, and pit bulls ever since I was very young. I have the compassion, patience, and experience for dogs, cats, and even plants! I am extremely passionate about animals and would characterize myself as going above and beyond for them. About ten years ago, I saved my neighbor's dog's life when he was attacked by another dog. Caring for animals brings me joy and purpose, which is why I am returning to Rover during my partial retirement as a Real Estate investor. I am free weekday mornings and early afternoons and have my own SUV to commute to your home. Before booking, it is recommended we do a meet and greet. I will treat your loved one like he or she is my own, showing the love and attention they deserve. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Transparency and communication is very important in order for a good relationship to work. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby.

Summer just took are of our new puppy at our home and took care of our home for almost two weeks over two different trips we already had planned. She was so attentive with him, helped train him while we were gone, always asked us something if needed, sent pictures and videos of our puppy, all while taking wonderful care of our home. It gave us such peace of mind to know that our new puppy was being so thoughtfully taken care of and able to stay in our home (his environment) with such a loving person. Thank you Summer! We will definitely have Summer again.
Summer is awesome! She genuinely cared about my pets and I felt comfortable leaving them in her care. I will definitely contact Summer again for future trips!
Summer was great with my dog Layla! She is regularly coming for walks/visits and I am very pleased with how it is going. Summer is very responsive and caring - she works great with my dog who is timid!
Summer is a great find! We will use her exlusively in the future. She responded promptly; she told us about a minor, two-hour conflict during her house/pet sitting engagement and asked if it would be OK; she went out of her way to accommodate a meet and greet request with only a few hours' notice. She is very pleasant and easy to work with. She is also expert at working with dogs. Our Lab loved her right away. She quickly learned how to work with our small flock (2 birds) of fowl. She kept us updated during her stay. I could not have asked for any better service and, if I had thought about anything else, I'm sure she would have stepped right up. She exudes confidence and inspires trust. My wife and I were totally comfortable leaving our home and pets in her capable hands.
We were very nervous to have someone we didn't know come into our house and watch our 2 fur babies while we went on vacation, but Summer was super great! She texted updates daily and was prompt to ask any questions she had. She was very responsive, from booking through the end of her stay. The dogs were super relaxed and happy when we came home and we are extremely happy with her services! Will definitely use her again should we find the need and we are considering using her for walks on a regular basis! Nothing but good things to say about her!
Summer is great w Harry. Attentive to his needs especially si and updated me with what he was doing. We will be using her as much as she is available for this pup!

Schedule
I do not have a 9 to 5 job. I am semi-retired Real Estate Investor who works a few hours per week from home. I am available weekday mornings and early afternoons.
