I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I always appreciate learning as much as possible before caring for them. Some important things I’d like to know include their feeding schedule, allergies or medications, favorite toys and activities, bathroom routine, any fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms, fireworks, or strangers), how they interact with other animals and people, and any training commands they know. I’d also like to know about any health concerns, escape habits, or behaviours to watch for so I can keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
A typical day
Some fun activities I enjoy doing with pets include long walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek with treats, puzzle toys, and training simple tricks using positive reinforcement. For cats, I love using wand toys, laser pointers, and interactive games, as well as spending quiet time cuddling if they enjoy affection. I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality, age, and energy level so they stay safe, engaged, and happy while their owners are away.
