I ❤️ Puppy Bellies. Short Notice ✅
I’ve always been a caretaker. In kindergarten I was awarded most compassionate. Today I take that tender, caring side of myself and pour it out on all my animal and pet friends! I’ve had dogs off and on since I was five. And, as an impressionable 7 year old I had 2 cats named Mary Kate Ashley. Now I have my cat, Stevie Nicks. I love animals–everyone who knows me says the same. I’ve fostered 2 loving doggies and one pregnant mama cat. All six of them are now in their living forever homes 🏡. I know a bit about how to train cats and dogs, and can teach them some simple tricks if I am house sitting or they are staying with me. My cat, Stevie, can currently sit and spin. We are working on her next tricks! I want both you and your pet to feel happy and secure while I’m sitting–that’s my top priority. I have plenty of love to give to make them feel safe and happy! A little about my background: I co-founded a creative branding agency and now I work in Communications on island.

Summer was fantastic. She responded so quickly, and despite the bad weather was able to come let our dog out. When she came for the drop in visit, she took lots of pics and videos of our pup. She played with him a lot. Highly recommend her!!
We've had many pet sitters over the years and Summer Begnaud is the best! She connects with our pets (two cats currently) in a very personal way. They pose for pics and seem to adore her. To us, Summer is the Austin Patron Saint of Pets. Seriously.
Summer took wonderful care of our little Frenchie, Domina. Our Frenchie is of the anxious type, and Summer was able to make Domina as comfortable as possible while her owners were away. Summer was reliable and flexible when our travel plans were changed unexpectedly after a winter storm. She was responsive and really caring. She left a very thoughtful note regarding her experience with Domina, which we really appreciated and reflected her best interests in the care of Domina!
Summer went above and beyond while taking care of our cats while we were away. She was excellent at communicating when she would be at the house and also took the appointment on short notice. We definitely recommend Summer for watching pets!

Schedule
I work remotely Monday & Friday so I am flexible and will have plenty of time to be with/check in on your pets. I want them to feel happy and secure while you’re gone. I also keep them stimulated with playtime and enrichment activities!

My Place -I have an apartment with my cat, Stevie, and my partner’s sweet and small pup Gracie. If I watch your pet at my place, my cat Stevie would be present and our dog Gracie. Your Place I try to do my best to leave your place just as clean or cleaner than you left it! I am happy to watch your pet at your home environment to keep them happy and comfortable.

There are plenty of opportunities for safe outside play and walks near my place! And will be sure to find the areas nearby your place if it’s a house sit.
