My work is mostly remote so I would be with your pup most of the time and could take them on plenty of walks in the Highland Park neighborhood where I live.

I live in an apartment in the Highland Park neighborhood of Birmingham. It’s a great area with lots of parks and sidewalks, so your pet would get as much outside time as they want. I also have a porch overlooking the city, if lazily taking in city views is their thing.

In addition to general temperament, special needs or quirks that you feel are important to note, I’m happy to give any medications or keep an eye on any medical issues they may have. I have a lot of experience closely monitoring special medical needs and have a good relationship with several vets in the area.
A typical day
I work from home, so we’d go on a morning walk. Depending on my work load and your dogs temperament he/she can hang out while I work, with cuddle breaks, of course. I’ll be available for potty breaks whenever they need to go, and if they’re a dog that needs it, I will make sure they go on 2-3 walks a day. If you’re ok with them being in my car, I’d be happy to take them along on any errands I may need to run, but that is totally up to you!

This was my first time using Rover, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about my sitter, Sumerlin, and just how quickly and efficiently she made the whole process! Sumerlin accepted the two night booking at very late notice on my part. She was very nice and professional and took excellent care of my yellow lab!! I’ll only be using her from now on!! 10/10 recommend!!!
Sumerlin was very friendly and took good care of our puppy. We inquired just a few days before booking and were grateful for her availability. There was a situation where her dog got a hold of our puppie's food but thankfully he was just there about 10 hrs so he didnt starve. Unforseen events happen....just gotta roll with it. The apartment was clean and in a convenient area of town. We were satisfied with her service and would use her again.
Bama loved his stay! Sumerlin was wonderful!
