Pet care experience
Serial rescuer and dog obsessed.
I have rescued dogs for many years. Volunteer at dog rescues regularly. The person who will stop to pet every dog I pass. I know all the dogs in my neighborhood but couldn't tell you what the owners look like. ;) I talk to dogs I pass in the street. Yes, I'm that person ;) I only board 1 dog or dogs from the same family at a time. This allows me to see to the needs of your dog and minimise chaos, allowing for a relaxed experience for your dog. I love puppy cuddles and sloppy face kisses. I'm particularly good at belly rubs and finding that spot that makes the leg go crazy. Usually walk the dogs first thing in the morning, last thing before bed, immediately as I get back from work. The after work walk tends to be a long one. Sometimes includes a trip to the park for fetch.

Sumera was amazing. Really great dog instincts and very experienced with rescue dogs. She treated our rescue dog Kewpie like her own and even provided training tips when we asked for them (smaller crate, high reward treats, ways to reduce the resource guarding, etc) ! The daily pics and videos with descriptive updates helped us stay in touch and feel comfortable during our travels. Would have her watch kewpie again!
Sumera took care of our guy for 2 weeks and we were extremely happy with the care she provided for our dog. Sumera provided regular updates and made sure to keep us informed of any notable updates. It's clear she's an avid dog lover and we highly recommend her services

Tiaré had a blast with Sumera for the 3 weeks we were gone! I can't recommend her enough. Sumera sent us pictures on a daily basis, and Tiaré got along so well with Kaylee, they have become best buddies on the 1st day :).
Sumera took amazing care of Charlie (again)! He has the best time when he stays with her. Sumera also sent me in-depth update messages and photos every day, which was so nice. She is the best and I can tell Charlie thinks so too!!!
Sumera is the best! My dog Charlie is a big guy (120 lbs), so when we were going out of town for 4 nights I was worried about finding a dog boarder who isn’t overwhelmed by his sheer size (and his occasional loud bark). She is very experienced with dogs and it shows. We did a meet-and-greet the night before dropoff and she knew how to get Charlie comfortable with her — he quickly warmed to her and her nice roommate. I could tell he felt comfortable in her house. After dropoff, Sumera sent updates multiple times a day with details and lots of photos. It looked like Charlie was having a blast. He was happy when we came home but I could also tell he was not desperate for attention like he sometimes is after we board him at a bigger dog boarding place. I wish we met her years ago! Thanks again!!

Schedule
I love to hike and take long walks. Enjoy taking water friendly dogs to the reservoir in McLaren park for a swim and socialising. Also to play fetch.

Safety, trust & environment
Unless I am told your dog is good off leash and I have tested their recall, I won’t do off leash walks. I do have a fenced backyard for off leash time.

A typical day
Walks, park, fetch, hikes, beach, cuddles. Allowing time for naps and chill break time. I also like to work on positive reinforcement training/ reinforcement of current tricks.
