Suman took care of Stella for three days. Communication was just okay. I would not recommend Suman as a caregiver for anyone with a senior dog or a dog that has a requirement for daily medication. Suman was more than 20 minutes late for our meet & greet, which she requested. I even let her choose the date, time, and location. Once she arrived to meet me, she informed me that although she had accepted my proposed drop off window of 12:30-1pm, she was not available until after 2pm because she had forgot she had a prior engagement. I always like to give people benefit of doubt, so I went ahead and kept the booking even though I did not have a great feeling. Once the boarding was in progress, Suman contacted me via text after 2 days to let me know she had not given my dog her bedtime meds since I dropped her off. While I do appreciate the honesty-which is the ONLY reason the review score is not lower-I was very upset & disappointed. Upon drop off, I showed up prepared with all meds portioned and prepped in pill pockets, in individual labeled ziploc bags, and even wrote out a schedule with the weekday, dates, and which meds to give. The communication about her not giving the meds was all through text, so it wasn’t recorded through the Rover app. Suman asked when we did our meet & greet for my personal phone number, and I gave it to her, not to necessarily use as primary communications, more as a backup. I’ve never had anyone from Rover ask to do that, but I did not want to make myself inaccessible during my travel. I made the mistake of allowing our communications to go straight to text via personal numbers (versus using the Rover app) after we met in person, and then once she told me about the mishap with my dog’s meds I requested that we move all comms back to the app- of course she did not want to communicate with me that way and I found myself in a difficult position. When I asked Suman to switch comms back to the app, she gave me a hard time. My personal opinion is that she didn’t want to look bad on record with Rover, and I had to ask her multiple times to please just use the app. Big lesson learned on my end. Will not rebook with Suman for my dog.

Not impressed

Suman was great! Super responsive, gave me updates on my dog and was incredibly easy to work with. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone to watch our dog!

Suman did great! Spent time with Benji, was accommodating, and great communication! I’ll definitely be using her in the future!

Suman is literally the best worker we've had in a while here at Dominos. When I was her manager, she surely has impressed me every shift I ran. She showed dedication, clear minded choices and kept a very good team attitude during work each day. She was always willing to help customers i.e. taking customers orders to their cars parked in the front. I definitely recommend her to anyone.
