Hi! I’m Sue — a lifelong animal lover with 49 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. Availability: Weekdays: Before 7:00 AM and between 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (with some flexibility after 2:00 PM on certain days). Weekends: Unless otherwise marked unavailable, I’m open and available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I’m based in the Green Valley area and happy to travel up to 8 miles to your home. My own rescue cats are my babies, so I completely understand the stress of leaving your furry family members, even for a short time. You can trust that I’ll care for your pets with the same love and attention I give my own. From a 100-pound Great Dane to senior cats with special needs, I’ve cared for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m confident with administering medications (including insulin) and adapting to pets with unique health needs. I’m extremely active, and whether it’s rain, hail, or shine, I’ll make sure your pup gets their exercise — and plenty of love. Think of me as their personal trainer and companion while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

I provide cares per owners request; whether it be just sitting with your dog/cat, playing, walks. I will feed per instruction and walk for additional costs.

Sue came for a get to know visit ready to take notes and be prepared with special instruction. I had specific instructions for her to follow. Somehow our communication was broken. There were clear instructions on what was needed to be done on the first floor only. Somehow Sue misunderstood those instructions and followed whodini up to the second floor. This action weakened the little trust my mother had with having a stranger in her house while she was away. There was also miscommunication with the timing of her visits. The first day of her visit I neglected to turn the alarm system off on time, because I was out of the country and struggled with the time difference. This prompted me to ask sue to message when she is coming so I can turn the alarm off. We had timing issues one more time. when Sue came a little earlier than I was prepared for, which set the alarm system off again. Other than those issues Sue did her job well. Whodini was happy to have the interaction and I was at ease that he was taken care of while I was away
Sue took good care of our cat while we were out of town.
Sue has sat for my then two kitties, now one kitty, and she has been great. It makes it so much easier to go away knowing she is coming in! I will definitely have her do drop-ins for me in the future!
Sue did a great job dropping in to check on our cat! She was very intuitive and gave updates on what was done. We came home to a calm and content kitty. Highly recommend!
This was our first experience with Sue and everything went perfectly. She arrived early and made sure our kids got lots of outdoor time during her stay. Instructions were followed correctly and no one was worse for wear by the time we got home. She took lots of pictures and responds to messages quickly.
Sue is a wonder sitter we’ve used more than once. She takes great care of our pup and is very reliable. We appreciate knowing our dog is in her hands when we are out of town. Thank you, Sue!
