Calm, Cozy Dog Retreat!!

Welcome to Happy Feet Retreat! My name is Sue, and I provide loving, home-based dog boarding and daycare in a safe, comfortable environment where dogs are treated like family. Unlike large kennels, I accept only a limited number of dogs at a time so each guest receives personalized attention, plenty of affection, and a calm, stress-free experience. Whether your dog enjoys playing, cuddling on the couch, exploring the yard, or simply relaxing, I strive to make them feel right at home. With over 30 years of experience caring for animals, I understand that every dog has their own personality, routines, and needs. I take the time to get to know each guest so I can provide the care and attention they deserve. While your dog is staying with me, you’ll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for. My goal is simple: to provide a loving home away from home where your dog feels comfortable, secure, and part of the family. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! ✅ Limited number of dogs accepted ✅ Daily photo updates ✅ Personalized care and attention ✅ Home environment, not a kennel ✅ Experienced with puppies, seniors, and special routines Happy Feet Retreat Home-Based Dog Boarding & Daycare

Sue is absolutely wonderful! She has a passion for animals. We were in town for one night. The place we were staying did not allow dogs so we had to find overnight accommodations. Her place is clean and dog proof. She took care of our dog as if it was her own. She plays with them. Takes them for walks. Incredibly attentive. She also sent us updates throughout the day including photos and videos. Thank you again so much.

Sue was fantastic. She opened her home to our little fur ball. He was very uneasy being left someplace new. But Sue worked closely and lovingly with him. Always shielding him from distress. Always concerned with his happiness. I’m sure anyone who is reluctant to leave their precious fur babies with someone new and unfamiliar will be very happy with Sue.

from one Rover sitter to another: thank you Sue for taking care of my pup with such love and for understanding how hard it was for me to leave her with someone. I deeply appreciate your updates and the love you shared with my pup. Thank you.

We felt like we were leaving Josie with a family member. Sue was warm and welcoming. Her home was clean, safe and pet friendly. She sent text messages and videos to ensure us that Josie was okay. Josie developed an irritation to her eye. Sue contacted us repeatedly to let us know. She was genuinely concerned. The condition worsened and she took her to the vet for us. She kept us informed. Josie had somehow abraded her eye. She had been very aggressive with her rope toy so she may have hurt it that way. At no time were we concerned with her care or safety. Sue gave all of the special meds even though it required her to get up in the night to give them to her. Sue was so devastated that Josie was injured. She and her husband were so very loving and caring to our baby Josie. She has continued to text to check on her recovery. She says the Josie won over their hearts. Sue won over our hearts. We will always have Sue care for Josie if we are away. Thank you Sue!!!!!
