Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am very mindful of pet safety--my cat is indoors only and he's never escaped or gotten lost (except for a 30-second adventure when he was a kitten), and I'm very patient with dogs on leashes and won't let them pull or run off.
Information Sue Hyon B. would like to know about your pet
It's really helpful to know the commands the dog already knows, and what kinds of things the dog is scared or anxious about, just in case it's a problem and I need to avoid it or be on the lookout.
A typical day
If it's okay, I would love to bring friends to the dog run in Creamery Park across the street from where I live. The dogs there always seem like they're having great fun!

Pet care experience
I've loved animals and had a childhood dog (a suspected spitz mix). But as a junior academic who can't stay in the same place forever, I don't have the stability to have my own dog these days. I would love to help others take care of their babies! I am very patient and love taking walks.

Reviews

Sue is awesome! She is very communicative and took great care of Ernie. Thank you Sue!

Sue Hyon took great care of my babies while I was out of town and I would absolutely recommend her services to others! I have a senior cat who requires several daily supplements and feedings, as well as a senior dog (Ginger) who resource guards and has an unpredictable mood with a bite history. Naturally, I was very anxious about leaving them in the care of someone I don’t personally know. My dog wasted no time showing her nasty side, refusing to allow Sue Hyon to put her harness on, with a (thankfully minor) bite incident to follow on day 2. I was mortified and fully expected her to cancel the rest of the booking or at the very least keep Ginger at an arm’s length. Not only did she stay, but she continued trying to get that dang harness on until she eventually succeeded. To even more of my surprise, she STILL went out of her way to take Ginger with her to bars and restaurants with dog-friendly patios because I mentioned how much she enjoys it. I was truly shocked by that and it immediately eased all of my worries. Thank you again, Sue Hyon!!

Sue was fantastic! Excellent with communication and took great care of my fur babies! They were extremely relaxed when I got back and had clearly been well cared for. Highly recommend!

Sue Hyon took great care of Tofu! She sent me pictures and updates promptly, which I really appreciated. She was also very flexible and was able to care for Tofu on short notice. I definitely recommend her!
