Information Sue C. would like to know about your pet

Before accepting a dog in my home I like to do a 'meet and greet' and take the dog for a walk, observing it's behavior and recall, this is for the owners and my 'peace of mind' Where he/she sleeps at night and how well house trained he/she is .

A typical day

As I live opposite Brierley Forest Park, the variety of different walks is enormous, with meadows, lakes and woods in abundance. I have also a secure back garden for zoomies

Pet care experience

I have had dogs all my life and run my own dog boarding business until 2010 when I had an opportunity to go to Africa, 12 years on I am back home and miss my furry friends, I live opposite Brierley Forest where there are miles of beautiful walks, lakes and meadows. I am mature and experienced, having rescued my last two dogs. I can administrate medications. I am a homeowner and can provide references. I have also been vetted and accepted to work for 2 local rescue homes as a volunteer.

Rosie had a great time with Sue and was well looked after. Sue kept us regularly updated with photos and videos which was very reassuring and lovely to see. We had a meet and greet beforehand to make sure that we were both happy. I would definitely recommend Sue to others.

Sue was absolutely fantastic with Max, he loved being there and from the regular updates, we could see he was having an amazing time. Sue was also quite happy to administer Max’s medication (which we only told her about at short notice due to a squirrel chasing accident). Overall we were delighted with Sue and Max can’t wait to see her again!!
