A typical day
My name is Stella, and I absolutely love animals. My husband and I have four adorable cavalier boys, between 4.5 and 6.5 yrs old, a 13-month old retriever boy, and three kittens, two males and one female. We also had a (now) almost 2 yrs old cat, who has been missing since May 2022. We found the kittens on the street a few months ago, in Crete and Athens, Greece, and in our neighbourhood in Co. Louth, when they were just 2 months old, and we adopted them all! We also recently adopted a (now) 13-month old retriever puppyman. Two of our cavaliers, the two youngest ones, are rescues from Cavaliers in Need Northern Ireland. Our oldest cavalier is a volunteer with the Irish Therapy Dogs; once a week we visit a nursing home in our area and provide some comfort and joy to some of its residents. We consider all of them our babies! We love all animals and all dog breeds. Sometimes we mind or board friends’ dogs, and they absolutely love it, staying in our home, playing with our five at our property grounds, and eating mainly home cooked food. We mainly provide home cooked food to ours, eh, and quite a few treats here and there… :-) Please note that two of our boys are neutered (the two rescues), the other three are not. As our dogs and cats are our babies, we treat them as such; thus, they are always indoors, day and night, and sleep in our space as well. We are always together and minding them properly, even while working. Our dogs (and our kittens) are incredibly friendly and fun to be around for any size dog. As long as your baby feels comfortable with a little canine gang (and their feline leaders!) surrounding them, we would love to mind him/her at our home, or board them. Just send me a message or give me a call! * Please note that: 1) Day care is offered between 8 am and 6 pm (up to 10 hrs), unless otherwise agreed in advance. Bookings more than or outside this schedule are boardings; 2) If you wish to book a pick up/drop off service, each one counts as a trip, not both. 3) For new doggie friends, no booking confirmation can take place without a test visit.

We were absolutely delighted with the care Stella provided for our 5-month-old puppy, Mylo. It gave us real peace of mind during our holidays knowing he was in such safe and loving hands. Stella kept us regularly updated with messages and videos, which made a huge difference and helped us fully relax while we were away. It was clear from the updates that Mylo was happy, comfortable, and enjoying himself. He loved spending time with Stella and her dogs and cats, which was great for his socialisation. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her—she’s kind, reliable, and clearly loves what she does.
Our 6 month old stayed with Stella for almost a week and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leaving such a young puppy is never easy, but Stella made us feel completely at ease from day one. We were constantly updated with lovely videos and pictures, which meant the world to us and showed just how happy and comfortable he was. He was so well cared for and loved, and it was amazing to see him socialising with other dogs in a safe environment. We picked up a very happy puppy. We are incredibly grateful and cannot recommend Stella enough, truly exceptional care.
Goose had a great time really accommodating hosts made him feel at home he loves all his new friends would recommend to everyone definitely will be bringing him back
This is the second time we leave our four-legged son😉 Max with Stella and Bruno, they are simply WONDERFUL. I 100% recommend these animal-loving people.
