Highlights
Pet care experience
Dog lover. Husky owner.
I've always loved dogs. Each one if my family members now has their own, including mine, Kira. I worked at the Canadian Kennel Club and I attended McMaster University to attempt my PhD (didn't work out). A dog is a great way to get out for a few minutes and forget about the stresses of life, and the affection they can return is unparalleled. I hope to get a few regulars and get to know your friends as well as you do. If you have an active dog, I love going for runs with mine. We'll start with walks first though. I'm near some great trails to go on hikes, or there's a cemetery across the street for nice casual walks.

Ratings and reviews
Stuart has been so understand and patient with my anxious dog. Stuart is a reliable, energetic dog walker and sitter! He has saved in a few pinches! 10/10 would recommend.

After some bad experiences with others, it has been a relief to find Stuart, who is excellent in every way.

Stuart was great with our 3 month old puppy, Luna. She hadn't had a lot of prior socialization, but nonetheless did well with Stuart and was definitely in good hands. Stuart sent several updates during the day, keeping me updated about how Luna was doing. Would certainly rebook and recommend!

Stuart is very consistent with the schedule and takes care of Luna very well. He's responsive and gives photo updates and notice of how she did too! Very happy to recommend him

Second visit with Stuart and he was nothing short of amazing for our Kai. Took him on two long walks we hope to book with him again!

Kai was well taken care of! We are very happy and hope to use Stuart’s services again : )

Schedule
Either I'm home to care for my own dog, or I make regular trips home from Mac. I wouldn't leave a strange dog home alone, though. Most of my work can be done remotely and walks work as nice breaks.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Regular walks since I live in an apartment. Air conditioned for the summer. Check water. Clean up messes. Make sure there's nothing they can or want to get into that they shouldn't. Play games. Training. Treats.

A typical day
This depends on the dog. My parents' dog loves to play tug at certain times of day, whereas mine hardly plays at all, she just wants to walk. Easy walks in the nearby cemetery or Ainsley Wood neighbourhoods. Longer, more intense walks along Bruce Trail and Dundas Valley Conservation Area.
Prices include all fees.
