Veteran with a big heart for dogs
I've spent the last 3 years caring for my soul dog, who had lost the use of his hind legs. Carrying him up/down stairs, expressing his bladder, giving him medication, tending to his needs, and making sure he was comfortable became my full time job. He has crossed the rainbow bridge and I now have the time and space to give other pups the same level of love and attention. Besides senior dog care, I have over 20 years experience caring for pups belonging to friends and family. Small pups, large pups, high energy pups, you name it. I'm a disabled combat veteran, and I've found that there's nothing like the healing and joy dogs bring. Their unconditional love has carried me through life’s hardest moments. I would be honored to care for your pet.

Stosh is great! My dog loves staying at his house and all the walks and play time he gets with him. It’s a bonus that my dog is so calm when I pick him up. I’m definitely booking all his stays with Stosh.
Stosh was very accommodating and easy to work with. He has a flexible schedule and obviously really cares about the dogs he cares for. We will be rebooking soon.
Stosh is extremely responsive, engaging and clearly loves dogs. When my flight was 4 hours delayed due to weather and I show up frazzled and apologetic, he was completely understanding and accommodating to the change. He sent us pictures and our dog came home tired from a great walk and not stressed-out needing time to decompress like she does from the usual kennel/dog boarder company. I couldn’t be more grateful. Please don’t use him because his schedule is already full and I had to rebook several weeks away. He’s that good… so please, stay away — so we can use him! 😊

I had a wedding to attend and due to some plans changing, I was in dire need of finding someone to look after Nuka. Then came Stosh! I reached out to him and he was perhaps the most accommodating and understanding person ever!! He was willing to look after Nuka the same day I texted him and honestly it was life saving. Stosh was super easygoing and I had full faith that he was going to take good care of my baby and boy did he! Nuka came back happier than ever and was ready for another sleepover haha Thank you Stosh! I will be reaching out again and hopefully with a little more of a heads up :)
Stosh was absolutely fantastic! He took amazing care of Zeus and Bear for four days, and I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. He was dependable, attentive, and clearly treated them like they were his own. Both dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for when I returned. I would absolutely trust Stosh with them again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Schedule
I'm a retired Purple Heart veteran, so I'm home all day. It provides me plenty of time to hang out with your pup, go for walks, and play fetch in the backyard.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be treated like family. The way I'd want my soul dog to be treated. They’ll be able to relax inside in the cool A/C, stretching out on the couch or a dog bed. Fetch or exploration in a fenced backyard, and many walks around the neighborhood and Greenway with plenty of stops to sniff. My home is completely pet-friendly, with no children and nothing harmful within reach. I keep a separate area of the home sectioned off for my senior pup.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a walk down to the Big Creek Greenway that is attached to my neighborhood. Throughout the day we'll head out back to a fenced backyard for a game of fetch, or tug-of-war. In between play sessions, there’s belly rubs and lounging in the cool A/C.
